Can You Help Me? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-08-05, 12:52 AM So im in a campaign right now and i happen to be enoying the playibility of a gestalted Psion(Telepath)/Monk of level 3. my point is this i would like to advance with a PrC while still being able to have a monk lvl of 20 and a telepath lvl of atleast 18. he is a lawful-neutral character who enjoys a good fight but would prefer to use lethal damage only when nesasary. any help on this will be nice.

03-08-05, 01:07 AM In the SRD, both the thrallherd and the slayer allow you to get 18th level manifesting.

03-08-05, 05:27 PM one more thing. on certain mage classes such as the Enlightened Fist my DM lets me use psion insted of arcane classes for pre reqs.

It depends what you want to do with your character:

a) focus on monk with psion providing buffs/debuffs/protection powers
b) focus on psion with monk providing movement/ac/unarmed damage/special abilities
c) focus on both

If a) you could take a look at Tattooed Monk from Complete Warrior. With the right tattoos you can rock as hell. Perhaps read up the Psionic Fist, although in your case the benefits may be redundant and imho this prc is on the lower power end.

If b) take a serious look at thrallherd or slayer. Both provide you with some nice abilities and you don't loose too much manifester levels as Sithobi1 has already pointed out.

If c) I can't help you. I don't know how you could pull that.

Finally, why don't you take a shot and ask on the COB? The people there can probably help you more than I. If you don't mind some... strange suggestions, why not?

03-28-05, 12:10 AM actually Ra-Tiel my PC had become etheral since then and when this happend he became obsessed with this and now im going to try to give him this PrC what ya think???
