Now here is a interesting debate amongst me and my DM, my character is a hexblade/dragon disciple drow, drow have that whole "AHHH SUN" thing, but ive maxed out my dragon disciple class and now have become a half dragon with the extra seeing stuff on his eyesight that half dragons get, now i say i can see in the sun w/o a problem now cause im a half-dragon at this point and have aquired the benifts of a half dragon eyes, my DM however thinks i still have light problems, what do yall think?

I think that you would probably still suffer the penalty, simply because it hurts your eyes to have the light. Just because you're good at seeing things doesn't mean you're not still pained by the light; I think the penalties are from more than just the not being able to see as well (though I don't have the description of light sensitivity handy). To solve the mess definitively, take the Daylight Adaptation feat. It is very helpful for the drow.
Then again, my take could be completely wrong. Thoughts?

i think daylight adaptation is one of those feats you have to take at 1st lvl but not sure as i dont have my books with me right now.

You can take Daylight Adaption at any level. It's not an initial feat, and the only pre-req is the light sensitivity ability.
