Hi! I have a question... there are several prestige class that have a entry as "+1 caster level". ok, but when you read the details about spells per day, some prestige class say that you stacks levels with this class to calculate caster level, but others not...

So... when a class have a entry as "+1 caster level", always stack for calculate caster level and spell for day?

when a PrC grants "+1 caster level" it always applies to a class that has an actual progression and for spellcasting ONLY you are considered to have improved a level in that class. So for your actual casting class you add +1 caster level, improve spells per day one level, and also add new spells as if you had gone up one level (increase spells known or add freebies to spellbook.)

indeed Steveno is right..this only says that you get a new class levle in that spellcasting class but DONT get the special features (thus powers) of it.
