Caster PrC caster progression [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-24-05, 05:14 AM I was looking at prestige classes for my sorcerer, and noticed that in the descriptions of the plausible prestige classes, it says that only the number of spells per day increases. What about the number of spells known? Let's say I'm a Sorcerer 8 / War Wizard 2, does this mean I can cast first to fourth level spells as a level 10 sorcerer, but no fifth level spells?

12-24-05, 05:28 AM The errata or FAQ or some such document mentions this. You gain spells known as well, in addition to caster level.
