Has anyone created or know of a castlevania (belmont) based class?

There's a whip-based Lasher PrC somewhere in the books. Probably either Sword and Fist, or Masters of the Wild, though I can't recall which, and I may be entirely wrong. Good PrC for whippers though,

Yes, but does it include a double jump?

LOL ... LOL. (i'm sorry) Lament of Innocence is not the only Castlevania Game. the Belmonts have never been known for particularly graceful jumps. DeNasty now he could jump.

OH and i forgot Belmonts strive to destroy Vampires, and use Holy symbols to destroy all enemies on the screen. sounds like a Paladin to me.

Take a look at rangers, fighters, and paladins.

Throw in the "Hunter of the Undead" and "Lasher" prestige classes.

Now you have a Belmont.

A whip-wielding vampire slayer is, to say the least, a bit of a niche figure, I wouldn't expect tog et very far without some multi- and prestige-classing.

Also, try here:

Richter Belmont from SoTN had an uberjump. That thing rocked. If yer gonna make a Belmont class, base it off Rick. (Juste also had a double jump, but then again, as did whoever was in CoTM.)

The whip would be pretty poor against a vampire; especially since the whip does subdual damage and vampires are um... undead.

However the Nagamari(???) from Masters of the Wild would be a similar yet more effective weapon. (???'s are for the name, I don't own Masters of the Wild and so am unsure of the name)

Also the whip-dagger from Sword and Fist would at least be better than the regular whip.

So yeah, like Ithilorien said, mix a little "Hunter of the Undead" and a little Lasher unless you've got the crazy whip from Masters , then you just use Hunter of the Undead, and you've got a pretty good whip wielding vampire killer.
