I have seen people create there ideal core and prestige classes but I don't think anyone has looked at the other side of the spectrum. This thread is for creating the perfect rivals. I myself have simply labled the spectrums. Criminal and Detective Criminals are not nessessarily bad. Example: Harrison Ford in Fugitive. Using fugitive as an example we have a smart criminal and a clever detective. One trying to stay hidden and the other trying to find them. The main points I want to point out are: Hunting (track, gather information vs Escaping(run speed, teleport, non detection,etc..) Interagation(zone of truth, mind reading, sense motive,etc..) vs not cracking under pressure (glibness spell, bluff, etc) Hiding (disguise, hide, move silently vs Finding(scrying, spot, listen,) And of course confrontation. What will happen when these opposites find each other. Some other examples I like are the series Runaway (i think that is it. The father and his family are on the run, blahblahblah) and if anyone knows any anime Death Note. The battle of wits between Yagami Light and L (This last one is what I'm going to try to base two prestige classes on. Dnd Style. |
