| Xenoborg7303-16-05, 04:02 AM | Hi guys, I just constructed a new character : a catfolk monk that took a vow of poverty Just a couple of monk-n00b questions though : - Does the AC bonus that comes with the Vow of Poverty stack with the AC bonus that is given by the monk class? - Can I add my strength bonus to my flurry of blows attack bonusses? (I'm thinking yes, but just to make sure) - The book of Exalted deeds has some info on Golden Ice. Since my Monk has the Touch of Golden Ice exalted feat, every evil creature hit by his fists is affected by Golden Ice. How does this work exactly? The table specifies that Golden Ice is DC 14, but for what? Do I need to roll some DC 14 check to see if the creature is affected, or does the creature need to succeed at a DC14 save? (Fortitude?) For your commenting pleasure, here's the sheet : http://home.tiscali.nl/wilcob/monk.pdf |

Stats for Golden Ice are on the chart on page 35 of BoED, your unarmed attacks are treated as having that ravage so every hit means the target has to make the save to resist it, otherwise take the damage just as with every other poison/disease effect, with one major exception i.e. they only work on evil creatures |

Because I'm a monk n00b :D Stats for Golden Ice are on the chart on page 35 of BoED, your unarmed attacks are treated as having that ravage so every hit means the target has to make the save to resist it, otherwise take the damage just as with every other poison/disease effect, with one major exception i.e. they only work on evil creatures ok , so every evil creature makes a DC14 fortitude save after a hit, thanks again! |
