| Noc Rat07-04-05, 01:38 AM | I have one question that's bugging my mind: I'm playing a campaign where Warlocks can be Lawful Good if you want, and while I was browsing potential prestige classes, I came up with the Celestial Mystic PrC from the Book of Exalted Deeds. At 8th level, the Mystic gains the ability to channel a spell to do extra damage with its holy bolt. Is it right to say that you can't beef up your bolt with an 8th level invocation because it's a spell-like ability? |
| Pax07-04-05, 09:21 AM | Celestial Mystic is pretty useless for a Warlock, because so MANY of it's abilities are tied to casting spells ... somethign Warlocks don't do. I would say, indeed, that "channel a spell" abilities simply don't work with SLA's. Sorry. |
