Centaur Paladins? Your thoughts. [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-31-03, 02:17 PM An interesting PC no doubt but what happens when you get your special mount feature? Someone brought this up as a laugh but it's a legitimate question I think...

what if you are a paladin varietn and are evil? do they get he fiendish template instead?

And if you've read Defenders Of The Faith, there are rules for alternate mounts. If you could get a mount big enough for a low enough CR, you could conceviably get a mount for your Centaur Paladin. Scary, huh?

12-31-03, 10:10 PM i don't think horses can spread their legs in such a way that they can sit on a saddle.

anyway the paladin varients (some of them) from dragon #310 DO get special mounts so the rules apply.

and the evil ones in #312 do too i think.

12-31-03, 11:04 PM Take the Leadership feat and get yourself an special cohort instead of a mount. With your ECL, you should be able to get some interesting creatures.

If you are not too proud, you can even get a humanoid creature to ride your back. That would be a nice change of pace.
