Chaos Monk help [Archive] - Wizards Community

1. is the Chaos Monk better than the regular Monk?

2. where is the Chaos Monk located (what book)?

3. where can i get such said book?

1. I believe so. You lose some okay defensive features, such as purity of body, wholeness of body, diamond body and, which is imo likely to be the biggest problem, abundant step. Oh, and the tongues ability, which by then isn't much good imo. The flailing strike feature seems, mathematically, to be better than FoB, the erratic charge sounds quite useful, but I'm not too sure about the displacing stance - while the abilities seem great, activating it as a standard action is a pain.
