NineInchNall 04-07-06, 05:49 PM	Uh, if allowing Flailing Strike to be used to qualify for things that require Flurry of Blows, then hellz yes I'll take a Chaos Monk. Chaos Monk/Barb/Drunken Master and Snow Tiger Berserker for circular charges with full attacks all day long.
yuenglingdragon 04-07-06, 06:42 PM	I prefer to remove the alignment restriction and play a chaotic monk like a regular monk just change Ki Strike and Perfect Self to be Chaotic instead of Lawful. I don't think that a chaotic character should epitomize chaos. A chaotic fighter doesn't get d4 bonus feats every 5 levels or something ridiculous like that. That said, if Flailing Strike does qualify a PC for Flurry of Blows feats this character can get sick as hell. Necklace of Natural Attacks (Wounding) and Rattlesnake Strike (Sandstorm) and you roll a 6 on your flailing strike (we're talking lvl 15 here) and if you hit with all your attacks that d3+9 Con damage. Yipes! Don't allow this character into your game! It replaces some of the least used class abilities and replaces them with ones that you will use all the time.
risner 04-07-06, 11:10 PM	It should not qualify. When a PrC will allow multiple feats or class features to qualify, it will say so (like Sky Lord), and unless the PrC says Flurry or Flailing Strike, you are out of luck. Another example, is all the PrC's that require Sneak Attack OR Skirmish.
