You get a cookie if you tell me where the concept’s from. This class also works well in the d20 Modern game and the Planepunk game being designed at Urban Planars (PM for the address; it’s a modern version of Planescape that uses its own rules).

Cheeseburger in Paradise:
“Cheeseburger in paradise/Heaven on earth with an onion slice/Not too particular, not too precise/I’m just a cheeseburger in paradise.”
The chef whose food produces a marvelous rush of energy; the cook whose food can give you strength to vanquish all foes but causes fireworks in the kitchen; the bard who always volunteers to cook dinner - all these and more may be cheeseburgers in paradise, using their skill in cooking, music, and magic to weave powerful wonders into the meaty items of food known as cheeseburgers. Also called “dinner casters,” cheeseburgers in paradise tend to sing to themselves constantly.
NPC cheeseburgers in paradise sometimes work as chef for exalted presons or wandering troupes of musicians. They also occasionally open their own restaurants for the purpose of selling magical cheeseburgers and doing what they do best: cooking.
Hit Die: d4.

Requirements:
To qualify to become a cheeseburger in paradise, a character must meet the following criteria:
Alignment: Neutral good, chaotic good, or true neutral.
Perform (Lute, guitar, or melody): 3 ranks.
Profession (Cook): 3 ranks.
Feat: Alertness.
Spells: Ability to cast fourth level spells.

Class Skills:
The cheeseburger in paradise’s class skills (and key abilities) are Alchemy (Int), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int, exclusive), Knowledge (Int), Profession (Wis), Perform (Cha), Scry (Int, exclusive), Search (Int), Spellcraft (Int), and Use Magic Device (Cha, exclusive).
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int modifier.

Class Features:
All the following are class features of the Cheeseburger in Paradise prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A cheeseburger in paradise becomes proficient with the spatula, a Tiny exotic melee slashing weapon that deals 1d6 points of damage, deals double damage on a critical hit, threatens a critical hit on a natural 20, weighs 1 lb, and costs 3 gp at a cooking store. It can also be fired from a bow, in which causes it to function as an arrow, but dealing bludgeoning damage (it is fired handle first).
Spells: When a cheeseburger in paradise reaches second, fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth level, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before adding the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit as a character of that class would have gained (improved chance of turning/rebuking undead, metamagic or item creation feats, hit points beyond those he receives from the prestige class, ect.). He does gain increased uses of bardic music per day (see below). If the character had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a cheeseburger in paradise, he must choose which class to add the new level to for the purposes of determining spells per day.
Bardic Music: A cheeseburger in paradise may use the bardic music ability as a bard of his cheeseburger in paradise level. If the cheeseburger in paradise already had the bardic music ability, his cheeseburger in paradise levels stack with his bard levels for the purpose of bardic music.
Scribe Cheeseburger: A cheeseburger in paradise stores spells in his cheeseburgers, each of which holds one spell. Effectively, the cheeseburger in paradise gains the Scribe Scroll feat using an alternative medium. All rules, XP costs, and expenses that apply to Scribe Scroll apply here. Unlike scrolls, cheeseburgers may be used by anyone. Any creature who consumes a cheeseburger (a process requiring two rounds) activates the effect and is affected by the spell at the time they would be affected by a potion they had imbibed. The cheese itself does not hold any power and can be left out. Any spell with “wall” in its name, arcane eye, conjurations (calling, creation, or summoning), evocations, illusion (figments, patterns, or shadows), necromancies, and prying eyes spells can’t be made into cheeseburgers. Abjurations, conjurations (healing), most divinations, enchantments, illusion (glamers or phantasms), and transmutations can.
Lettuce: At second level, the cheeseburger in paradise can use a leaf of lettuce to extend the duration of spells stored in a cheeseburger. Effectively, he gains the Extend Spell metamagic feat, but only when scribing cheeseburgers. Tomato: At third level, the cheeseburger in paradise can use a slice of tomato to double the range of spells stored in a cheeseburger. Effectively, he gains the Enlarge Spell metamagic feat, but only when scribing cheeseburgers. All rules for Enlarge Spell apply to burgers with tomato, and a burger with tomato takes up a spell slot one higher than the spell’s level.
Heinz 57: At 4th level, the cheeseburger in paradise is able to use prestigidation at will as the spell cast by a sorceror of his character level, but only for the purposes of flavoring an object.
French Fried Potatoes: At 5th level, the cheeseburger in paradise has experimented with his magic and succeeded to the point where he can store spells in strips of fried potato called “french fries.” Furthermore, since they fit on a plate with a cheeseburger, he may serve them both. Thus, two spells are stored. He pays full XP and gp costs for both, scribing the burger spell and fries spell separately. The burger’s effect is triggered first, and when its duration runs out, the fries’ effect takes over.
Mustard: At 6th level, the cheeseburger in paradise may increase all the variable, numeric factors of a spell stored in a burger with mustard. Effectively, he gains the Empower Spell metamagic feat, but only when scribing cheeseburgers. All rules for Empower Spell apply to burgers with mustard, and a burger with mustard takes up a spell slot two higher than the spell’s level.
Quick Snack: At 7th level, the candle caster learns how to compress the same nourishment, flavor, and magic into a physically smaller burger. It only takes one round to eat a burger made by a 7th level or higher cheeseburger in paradise.
Makin’ the Best of Every Virtue and Vice: An 8th level cheeseburger in paradise registers as neutral when any detect [alignment] spell is cast upon him.
Double Patty: At 9th level, the cheeseburger in paradise further refines his art of culinary magic. He can store two patties in a burger. He still scribes each spell separately, paying full gp and XP costs for both, but the two spells activate simultaneously.
Pickles: Also at 9th level, the cheeseburger in paradise can add pickles to a burger to increase the spell’s effective level. Effectively, he gains the Heighten Spell metamagic feat, but only when scribing cheeseburgers. All rules for Heighten Spell apply to burgers with pickles, and a burger with pickles takes up a spell slot at the spell’s new level.
Onion Slice: At 10th level, the cheeseburger in paradise reaches the epitome of his ability. By adding onions to a burger, he can maximize all variable, numeric effects of a spell stored in a cheeseburger. Effectively, he gains the Maximize Spell metamagic feat, but only when scribing cheeseburgers. All rules for Maximize Spell apply to burgers with onions, and a burger with onions takes up a spell slot three higher than the spell’s level.
Heaven on Earth: Also at 10th level, the cheeseburger in paradise’s burgers trancend mortal means. He becomes an outsider and gains the Native subtype. He is no longer subject to spells that specifically target humanoids (such as charm person), but can be hedged out by a magic circle agains his alignment. He can still be brought back from the dead.
