04-18-07, 12:14 PM hi all i was thinking about playing a chronomancer for my next character i heard theres something out there already if someone can point me in the right direction that'll be great if not i say we make one

04-18-07, 12:24 PM i had made one in 3.0 using a 3rd party paperback on cronomancy a while back, when i get home i'll look for it. I know i still have the book so i could remake the class to 3.5 standards now, but it would take time that i likely don't have.:(

04-18-07, 01:54 PM there is a prc class in the boards called "Temporal Adept" it deals with this.

You could also play a psion (nomad). Many of the powers can be described as time related. Dissipating touch can be phasing someones skin and bone to a different time stream. Hustle can be moving yourself into a faster timestream. Teleport can be seen as moving yourself throught the space time continuum. You just have to give it some flavor.

Take entire rounds as a swift action
Extend effects' durations by having the past not count against them (Helpful or harmful effects)
Send people or objects into the future (essentially removing them from your way for a short while -- be advised, it's a one-way trip)
Catch glimpses of the past or the future with specific powers
Rewind time one round, letting you correct catastrophic mistakes

If you're allowing third-party material, such as Hyperconscious and Untapped Potential (considered great resources for psionics since Wizards doesn't support them much):

Temporal Concussion. Exactly what it sounds like.
Causal Loop: Time loops around for a person, but only in their mind -- they keep doing their last action over and over, oblivious to the fact that time continues to march on
Can't dispel the enemy? Then speed up all of his supernatural effects, making them run out faster!
Generate a field of slow time that affects light, granting you a stacking miss chance
An entire prestige class, the Chronorebel, based around slipping back and forth through time to learn and change things -- but be aware, if you make a significant change to the timeline, the DM has carte blanche to destroy you if you don't correct it.

Sound interesting enough for you? Those are just the ones that explicitly deal with time, and it isn't even all of them. You can reflavor other ones as well, as described above.

(Not all of those are nomad-exclusive, but a nomad is the only psion type that can use all of them.)

Do note that the nomad's a master of space as well as time, so you'll see flight, levitation, teleportation, planeshifting, and similar effects, some of which are completely new to the game (i.e. you won't find a single character other than a nomad able to do some of these teleport effects). This is on top of the psion general list to choose from, which has a diverse range of simple effects to choose from.

Note: The temporal warrior is sadly archived so it might be a bit hard to see the table.

As periscope mentioned, Temporal Adept (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=687101) is a good choice to consider.

Also on the WotC website you can travel through time (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/pg/20030409b) with a spell.
