Description
The City guard is a very visible and needed part of any city. While strait fighters are tougher, the guards suit the needs of the city far better and can put up enough of a fight to make most decide that going to jail or paying a fine is better than being dead.
With their watchful eyes, City guards observe the populace going about its daily business and make sure thieves and thugs don’t harass the honest citizens on the streets, keeping the life blood of the city flowing.

Bonus Feat
Starting at third level and every three levels after that, a City Guard gets a bonus feat that they make choose from the fighter feat list.

Intuition
Starting at first level, the City guard gains a +2 to all Sense Motive checks to help filter out those seeking ill intent within the confines of the city.

Keen Eye
Having an eye for detail, City guards tend to spot things a bit better than most, giving them a +2 to any spot check and negating any distance penalties by 1.

Vigilant
A City guardsman is able to keep a wary eye out even in boring gate or parapet duty. This ability allows the City guard to ignore fatigue and exhaustion for 1 hour +con modifier per day.

Weapon specialization
Constant training enables the City guard to specialize just like a fighter does.

Why should they have a lower hit die than Warriors?

There are a few reasons -

1) They simply dont have the time to train as much as fighters do - if anythingm they are pretty taxed with just being able to specialize and thus are not as sturdy -

2) They dont train as much - period. And should be allowed to specialize in one weapon only and in that case increase the HP to d10

I put d8 hp just to show they are not as tough - but have some other skills to help make up for it. - besides, this is really more of a NPC class than anything but with its skills could be useful for fighters to get some ranks in the much needed spot and listen :)

Its also good as a flavor PrC for those character who start higher than first level.

I also posted this to see if anyone else had ideas on how to make this better :)
