It says a spellsinger can lose a prepared spell slot in order to cast any arcane enchantment of one or more levels that is on their spell list. Now does this mean you can cast any enchantment spell even if you don't actually have it in your spellbook or if you don't know it? If it's just spells that you already know, it's pretty much useless for bards and sorcs and not much more useful for wizards. Does anyone have any thoughts on this ability? I'm thinking of changing this ability altogether since it just seems awkward and unclear.
Epic Scotsman 08-13-04, 10:53 PM	It seems to me that it means this... You may sacrifice a prepared spell in order to cast any enchantment of the same spell level on your spell list. I'm pretty sure it means ANY enchantment on your list, not just ones you know or that are in your spellbook. It is worded pretty badly, but I think that's how it works.
Snow Savant 12-28-04, 06:47 PM	Yeah, but look at how horrible the DC is for the Spellsong ability is. Not an issue if you are calling in a non-attack Enchantment spell (like Heroism and whatnot). Nonetheless, Spellsinger is better when attached to Wizard. Look at this pretty neato build ... Rogue-3 Wizard-2 Spellsinger-5 Sublime Chord-2 Arcane Trickster-8
