clarification on domain spells and cleric [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-07, 08:11 AM From reading phb 3.5, it says to choose a god, choose 2 magic domains. On those you get +1 bonus, blah blah.

Now, does this mean for your spells in general they can only be from the 2 or 3 domains that the god allows OR can the rest of the spells still be chosen from the entire list?

It doesn't mention that...

01-18-07, 08:25 AM Domain spells can only be prepared in the domain slots. The rest of the spells can be prepared normally, within the restrictions of the characters alignment.

01-18-07, 11:05 AM You choose your regular spells from the full spell list. Also, you get the +1 bonus for all spells of the type that you've chosen as your domains.
