| Scott_Kaderabek07-26-07, 10:05 PM | I'm making a character, a half-black dragon warlock. Would someone help me understand the eldritch blast? Is it a standard action to use it, where it is used once pre round, or is it an attack action where if I use a full attack, it gets multiple uses per round? Warlock is located in the [I]Complete Arcane[I]. Thanks. |
| Arkeas07-26-07, 11:21 PM | It is a standard action (unless some invocation specifies otherwise, I am not sure if there are any) and you do not get multiple attacks with it. |
| LoneFlame07-26-07, 11:27 PM | Unless you use the Eldritch Glaive invocation(Dragon Magic) |
| Crimson_Concerto07-26-07, 11:32 PM | Eldritch Blast is a Spell-Like Ability, and unless otherwise stated, all Spell-Like Abilities are standard actions. Not that difficult. |
| Oliver D'Argent07-27-07, 01:17 AM | If you are using the Eldritch Glaive blast shape, even though you make attack rolls as though taking a full attack action, the invocation specifies that it is still a full-round action. This means that you cannot combine the use of the Eldritch Glaive blast shape with any feat or special ability that requires you to use a full attack. |
