09-28-06, 10:35 AM I'm playing a level 1 warlock technically for 5 weeks now (1 of gameplay 4 of being stuck in a box by my supplement char a level 10 wiz doppleganger) and when I get back to my warlock i was thinking of multiclassing to cleric than to mystic theurge. Mystic theurge says that you have a leels as if you had gained 1 from arcane side and divine side, my questions are:1. is it possible to multiclass through the warlock (says use invocation levels in arcane) annd 2. Would i gain bonus invocations/higher eldritch blast for levels in mystic theurge ?

09-28-06, 10:50 AM yes, +1 to arcane spellcasting of a warlock means you get increased EB and new invocations as if you had leveled in warlock

09-28-06, 04:14 PM I think that a warlock can only qualify for a prestige class which has a caster level requirement, not must cast spells of X level. So I do not think you would qualify, but as for the other question, +1 spell progression translates into you increasing your eldritch blast and invocations

09-28-06, 04:25 PM Yeah, technically, you dont qualify for MT because you dont cast any arcane spells.

To tell you the truth, considering your Deceive Item and Imbue Item abilities, it probably isnt a really optimal idea.
