I generally like playing arcane casters or warrior types (especially hexblades) and was looking in particular at the Jade Phoenix Mage PrC. If I was a swordsage/dread necro focusing on Shadow Hand techniques, could I use the Arcane Wrath ability with the Dread Necro's Charnel Touch? The ToB says that you must use the converted energy on a attack before your next turn. So if I sacrificed a spell to fuel the Arcane Wrath ability, would it work with Charnel Touch? I am asking this because I am creating an adventuring company of NPCs that focus mainly on arcane magic. The tank will be a hexblade with 1 level of druid for the druid shapeshift variant from PHB2, and access to divine magic wands. there also will be a beguiler/warblade/JPM who is the party's expert. The second line fighter will probably be the Dread necro/Swordsage/JPM, along with his cohort, who will be a warmage/duskblade for the Arcane Channeling ability. Lastly, before I go, I was wondering if there were any feats that granted the shapeshift ability or the Wild Shape ability. Sorry this is so long, and thanks for any replies. |

Anyway, there's nothing I can see in the description of either class ability that would prevent Arcane Wrath from adding its attack bonus and damage bonus to Channel Touch. Though why you wouldn't just cast wraithstrike and use a weapon I don't know... |
