| Orguth the Brawler01-26-04, 12:12 PM | In keeping with the fine traditions of movies, novels, television, and anyone with a smattering of style in their life, role-playing offers a wealth of opportunities for clever or intimidating one-liners to throw around in the fray. So read those posted and post your own, than frighten your enemies and entertain your friends with them during your next session! Note: Try to keep them following a simple format that I will provide examples of. And for God's sake, take the time to make sure you properly punctuate and spell everything correctly. We can't say it if we can't read it. Core class based quotes are the ideal. Anything more specific is unlikely to be useful, but if you think it too cool to pass up, go for it anyway! Try to keep it to one or two lines - monologues are tough to get out during melee. Diviner: "I know what you are thinking, and believe me, it isn't going to help you." "I know something you don't know..." Necromancer: "You aren't the only one who can sell your soul." "You can either submit to me and die once, or irritate me and die repeatedly." "Most heroes offer a choice to either submit or die. I offer a choice to die, or spend an eternity in undead servitude." "Your death is only the beginning." Illusionist: "It doesn't have to be real to kill you." "You see nothing, fool. Only what I wish you to see." Transmuter: "Others put their faith in nature, the gods, or evil forces for power. What need have I of such when reality itself is my plaything?" "Change is inevitable." Enchanter: "When I want your opinion, I'll give it to you." "Are you sure that's the way you feel?" Paladin: "Righteousness is my armor, honor my shield, and valor my sword. What need have I to fear those too weak to uphold the right?" Barbarian to Wizard: "I doubt your books will save you from my axe." Barbarian to Cleric: "Call on your god all you want, priest. He isn't here right now. I am, on the other hand." "I'd pray too, if I were you. The afterlife has just become an immediate concern of yours." There's my contributions. I have more, but I think this'll get the ball rolling. Enjoy! |
| Endarire01-28-04, 10:06 PM | Wizard: "World power made easy." Sorcerer: "More magic courses through my thumb than your entire body!" Druid: "Nature may be impartial, but I, her servant, hate you." -EE |

Anyway as you can imagine I am irritated and my stomach is grumbling, you probaly understand then that the term 'Illiterate Monkey with an axe' has just shortened your lifespan."
