Maystar 04-01-06, 11:35 AM	Hello, have been trying to find some info regarding class/prestige class class-features which you already have (from a different class). As I understand it if you have a basic feature (ex: uncanny dodge) it gets upgraded to the corresponding intermediate feature (ex: improved uncanny dodge) But what happens when you get a feature you have that doesn't upgrade (or if you have reached the top tier already). In some cases it says whether you get a bonus feat or nothing at all. But mostly it dosn't say anything. Is there a hard rule on this somewhere that I have missed? Obi-Wan Shinobi 04-01-06, 11:50 AM	actually, class features dont ALWAYS increase to the next level ability. for example, unless it specifically says so, Evasion does not improve to Improved Evasion when you have 2 or more classes that give you the ability. as for feats, i havent seen too many classes/PrC's that give you an increase in the feat tree- a few give you a different way to use a feat, but they dont specifically upgrade the feat (supreme cleave for example). some PrC's say that if you already have feat X, you may choose a different one if you would gain feat X as a bonus feat. some dont. have to go by what each specific class/PrC says. so, in short, if it doesnt SAY you get an increase/replacement feat, you dont. sorry :(
