Class for the savage beast [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-29-08, 07:54 PM I need a class or prestige class that works off of being a werewolf. Can anyone give me any ideas or show me if anyone has already come up with something.

04-30-08, 06:13 PM Actually, I am looking to create something that works with the abilities of a werewolf. Something that a character can take if they want to focus their experience on being a better/ more powerful werewolf. Thanks for the reply though.

04-30-08, 06:30 PM So you don't want a prestige class that's good for Werewolfs, you want a prestige class specifically for lycanthropes. You really out to be more specific.

04-30-08, 06:33 PM Warshaper, IIRC, gives bonuses when in an alternate form. Bear Warrior turns into a bear. Unarmed Varient Swordsage would let you make iterative attacks with unarmed strikes while still making claw attacks (remember that normal natural attacks can never make iterative attacks), and you could focus on Tiger Claw moves for appropriate savagery. Bloodhound is a different direction, letting you better track down prey.

04-30-08, 07:48 PM How is Unarmed Varient Swordsage that focuses on Tiger Claw off the wall? It's a savage melee type that works well with claws and limited gear. You could even PrC into Bloodclaw master to get the theme even better.

And Bloodhound? You don't think wolf and bloodhound go together at all?

04-30-08, 08:57 PM I really dont think you can get much better than warshaper. Every were-critter of apropriate level should take that class. Its great. If your large in hybrid form, then War Hulk is likewise a nice class.
