Well see, Im needing help due to my inability for greatness.

Channelers use the innate force of soul, and personality to create powerful effects that are similair to magic. What sorcerers and bards do, is the closest kind of magic to that of the Channeler. The channeler scoffs at the Cleric and Druid as weaklings who must use the forces of others to empower themselves, while looks at the wizards as pathetic hopelesses who rely on books to amplify their meager power. They however, admire the sorcerors as one might a little brother or sister.

The problem is designing a class around this system of casting:
the Channelers use two things to cast: One: SP (like PP) and two, Soulfocus Checks (New skill used for this and spellcraftlike checks for this brand of "casting")
The Channeler must first draw the energy to mind before unleashing a power. As a move action (w/AoO).
For 0th level, this is a free action
This then draws the needed power to the surface of the Channelers inner self (so to speak). The Channeler may then unleash the power as a standard action ( or otherwise as power stated) The energy may be held in the mind and used for other purposes instead. When drawing energy, the purpose need not be stated. The energy can be held for 10 - energy level before combusting dealing 1d6/level damage ( 0th counts as 1/2). Powers and more need designing

1. Your DC is rising too fast. Expecting a PC to be able to make checks 5 DC higher over 2 levels (which is normally 2 more ranks) is rather... unrealistic.
You might want to look at a triangular number progression:
1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45... But this too can get out of control fast... Obviously you would start at like... 10 or whatever.

2. Seems rather complex. For a game, you sometimes have to sacrifice 'believe-ability' for playability. I've seen some of the "more real" systems some fans tried to do for Wheel of Time for Channeling, and all of them were terrible and made the game unplayable. And while I understand you aren't writing something for Wheel of Time, it is still important to recognize that a complex system doesn't mean it is a good system.

Maybe just eliminate the check and just make it require an action to draw the energy?
