First:

Which is better (proboly been asked before...): lvl 4 barb, lvl 4 fighter or a dual class lvl 2 barb lvl 2 fighter?

Second:

Is the legdendary dreadnought any good? Chara in mind: Melee combatant, inprovment on fighter or barb.

Since you've really provided the barest hint of information, we can't really know what it is you're after. Without that knowledge, it's unlikely anyone is going to be able to tell you which one is better for your situation.

So please, give us some more information on what you're after in the long run. Then you'll get some more detailed information.

It looks like you're after the legdendary dreadnought as a character, but we've all heard the saying about "assume" before.

03-19-06, 05:03 PM "Better" is completely subjective. What do you want to do? If you want a lot of combat maneuvers, go with fighter. If you want a lot of damage, go with barbarian. Do you want to be heavily armored or fast? Personally, I'm a fan of the mix. Use the fighter get a couple of feats and the barbarian to increase damage potential.
Is the legendary dreadnought any good? Yes. You might want some fighter levels to get the feats out of the way. You can't be one until level 27, though, so I would recommend that you not worry about it any time in the near future.

I was sorta thinking of the mix because the barb has higher hit points, and rage, but the fighter has more feats and automatic profishencies (I can't spell today...)
