Hi all,

I need advice, hopefully someone in these forums will be able to help.

I'm currently trying to create my new character. I want to play a character that has an interesting range of abilities, particularly utility abilities (and perhaps scouting too).

Obvious a wizard can do this. To a lesser extent, all spellcasters. Psions could do this too. Another interesting alternative could be a druid/Master of Many forms - by picking forms with diverse capabilities, this type of character can have the right ability at the right moment.

But I've played all those.. I want to try something new. Any interesting suggestions? A class/Prestige class I cannot think of?

Many thanks,

The Captain

Rogue.

Use Magic Device with a little bit of investment means they'll always have the exact ability you'll need, and they have access to the most skills & skill points in the game, I believe.

As the name suggests, scouts from CA could probably fit the bill too... they also have a lot of skill points and some cool abilities.
