i can think of one that lets you go ethereal at will
the Fiend of Possession in the Fiend Folio allows you to go ethereal at will with only one level

the only I know is psion uncarnate, but a loss of 4 manifester levels: nah.

08-15-05, 11:06 AM Well if you are looking for one the Psion Uncarnate does this. The only problem is that when you reach 10th level you become incorpreal permanently. Also I think there is one in a thread called the faded.

08-15-05, 08:12 PM Try and remember, "ethereal" is not eactly the same as "incorporeal". There is some overlap, but they are not one and the same thing.

08-15-05, 08:25 PM If you mean ethereal rather than incorporeal (the difference Pax alludes to is significant), just become a cleric, sorcerer or wizard. There is both a core 7th and 9th level spell that will do the trick.

If you do mean incorporeal, you're probably better off looking at racial options instead of classes.

08-16-05, 01:10 AM BTW. incorpreal creatures can hurt creatures on the material plane and other incorpreal creatures which mean: while a monk or cleric go ethreal, they can't be hurt at all(unless a metamagic feat from Carc. doen't remember the name though), but they can't hurt material creatures AT ALL. incorpreal can hurt material creatures and incorpreal creatures(and ethreal if spellcaster with the feat noticed above).
