I plan for the character to become an Apostle of Peace early in his levels, and need something that can still be useful to the party until then. Perhaps a healer class or something of the sort? Any help is appreciated. |

Cloistered Cleric (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/unearthedCoreClass.html#cloistered-cleric) is a possibility if you can get a DM to house rule that 1 gp wooden holy symbols fall under the purview of the Vow of Poverty. I don't have Complete Psionic, but Ardent might be good. I assume that they have diplomacy as a class skill, or some mantle that grants it, but I don't actually know that. Otherwise, maybe egoist. That has less wisdom/charisma synergy and a lot of intelligence dependence, though Then there's the Miniature's Handbook Healer, if you really want to do that. Bards make good entries into Apostles of Peace. Especially half-elf bards with the first Races of Destiny substitution level. They aren't great dedicated healers, but hey, they have the Cure series of spells, along with neutralize poison. |
