Mad_Jack 04-25-08, 02:50 AM	Does anyone here play the Warlord miniatures skirmish game from Reaper Miniatures? And if so, has anyone written up new classes based on them, or statted them out as D&D characters? I ask because several folks over on the Reaper painting and gaming forums are either playing or have played various D&D campaigns set in Taltos, the setting of the Warlord game, and there have been several discussions over there about which classes best fit the flavor of the various factions and individual characters. I don't play Warlord myself, so I'm not completely familiar with all of the stuff, but from what I know of it, only about...eh...maybe three quarters of the various characters and monsters in the game can be translated into D&D terms through the combination of races, base classes and prestige classes without losing some of their flavor or requiring significant tweaking. I was curious to see if anybody had already done anything, so I figured I'd ask.
Xerj 04-25-08, 03:56 PM	Well, I have never played Warlord, but I have played other skirmish games (40k etc.). A very good Warlord/Commander themed class is the Marshal from the Miniatures Handbook (another skirmish game, coincidance?).
