| Sutemi02-04-07, 07:34 AM | I just got this great idea for a character that only masters simple and martial melee-weapons, but lack profiency with any ranged weapons. However I was unable to find a rule on this. I could always roleplay the character like he doesn't want to use them, but if, for instance, he would be forced to use bow ex tempore he would fire it like he has used for his entire life (which is opposite from truth). I already took the Shaken-flaw, but that's nothing. Any suggestions? |

| mittenninja02-04-07, 07:38 AM | Both the swordsage and warblade from ToB have no initial proficiency with martial ranged weapons. So assuming you didnt multiclass into something that gave you that proficiency you wouldnt have to roleplay the unfamiliarity with said weapons. Not to mention that those classes are two of the most fun classes to play, ever. Edit: didn't see above post |
