I was thinking : The druid is the only class that on 20 lvl who can be good and powerful because you have 3 good things:

1- Animal companion who can be very helpful with feat from BoED to get another companion with -1 on effective lvl (exalted companion and off course change it to the dark side ;) ) and after all take animal bond from complete adventurer to let it be powerful like your first companion

2- Wildshape who can be powerful with the new kind of armor who change with you when you shape into for example a dire bear and feats from complete divine ;)

3- Spellcasting: Few new spells from complete warrior, divine and adventurer and Races of wild ( I don't have it but I think it's a good book  )

So why take Beastmaster, MoMF or nature warrior or some others prestige class ? What you think about that?

Because around level 10-12 you start to feel guilty for taking druid.
