12-19-05, 07:29 AM The "Monks with Class" article on the WotC website mentions getting feats that allow you to use stunning fist attempts for other things, but it neither names them, nor mentions where I could find any. Anybody know where I can find some feats to make my monk more classy?

12-19-05, 07:33 AM Look in Complete Warrior first, it had feats such as Freezing the Lifeblood, Iron Fist, and Weakening Touch . These all use a Stunning Fist attempt to do different things. This list- WoTC Feat List (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats) shows more.

12-19-05, 10:27 AM or make them up. you can definatly borrow some cleric and paladin abilities for that... (smite:alignment takes up a turning use for example...)

12-19-05, 01:17 PM There's some feats that lets u multi-class freely with monk. I think they're in Farun Campain setting(I don't have access to my books right now which also explains my spelling). With these feats you can smite evil or sneak attack & any ability that's lvl dependant will let you add your monk lvls.

The Ascetic Feats. But they're in Complete Adventurer, not the FRCS.

12-19-05, 04:25 PM If by core you mean Monster manual, DMG, and Player's Handbook, then no I can't think of anything except maybe a dip into shadowdancer.

Erm, learning Stunning Fist wastes quite a lot of feats for a fighter and they'd still wouldn't be able to use it that often. IIRC some of those feats had some pretty harsh attribute requirements.
Why shouldn't a fighter be able to learn them if he wants to? Feats aren't made for specific classes, after all or they'd be class features.

12-28-05, 10:40 AM Don't forget to take Improved Natural Attack. More damage potential is always useful for a Monk.

Sapphire Fist from MoI is also very good for increasing the DC of your Stunning Fist attacks.

-Which has nothing to do with what the OP had asked. He asked for options available for his Stunning Fist attempts, which I gave. He made no mention of fighters using them as well. Hence, my homework was correct :D

Also, I mentioned Iron Fists- it's actually Fists of Iron.

12-28-05, 08:03 PM These aren't actually feats, but PrC's, but could help your monk:
- "Complete Warrior" Tattooed Monk and Kensai.
- "Complete Arcane" Enlightened Fist.

Also, the feat Extra Stunning from "Complete Warrior" can help you by letting you use your Stunning Fist more often.
