-Cleric archer 20 build. Yes, I min/maxed it. All it needs is a deity with the war domain and a favored weapon longbow or greatbow. Otherwise you have to be an elf. Is there a deity out there with the war domain and favored weapon longbow or great?

1 point blank shot, rapid shot
3 zen archery
6 extend spell
9 persistent spell
12 quicken spell
15 spell penetration
18 greater spell penetration

I'm not sure I would call that min/maxed. Where is Divine Metamagic (Persistant Spell)?

IIRC Corelon Lorethian has the war domain and and the longbow as his favored weapon. You might be able to fenagle your way into being a human who worships an elven deity. I've seen stranger backstories.

In the Forgotten Realms, Shevarash and Solonor Thelandira both have longbow as a favored weapon and grant access to the War domain. Both also have the Elf domain, which gives Point-Blank Shot as a bonus feat.

Solonor Thelandira also exists in Greyhawk, although he doesn't grant the Elf domain there.

If you have Races of the Wild, Vandria Gilmadrith is a lawful neutral elven goddess of war and strategy with longbow as her favored weapon and War as one of her domains.

smrtgmp. Most dms don't let you have 15th level spells you know what I mean? Since in the epic section it says above 9th level spells are impossible... wouldn't make much sense. In the case that your dm allows it by all means go for it. Just slide in divine metamagic in the build and take out greater spell penetration. In fact... take out spell penetration as well and get extra turning. Why bother targeting people with spells when you've got the ultimate cheese 24 hour buff action?

Any non elven deitys? Or at least non lawfull.

Eberron has the idea of worshipping a pantheon of deities, which allows you to choose domains.

But for that matter, the PHB says you dont' have to worship a deity, so just take those domains and worship yourself (and your favored weapon is longbow).
Deity, Domains, and Domain Spells
...
If a cleric is not devoted to a particular deity, he still selects two domains to represent his spiritual inclinations and abilities. The restriction on alignment domains still applies.
...

And divine persistent metamagic doesn't take up a 15th level slot, it takes up 7 turn attempts. And it isn't "Cheese" It gets countered pretty easily by 1 targetted dispel magic.

And if you're going "Archer" cleric, then spell penetration is pretty useless (as you will be using your spells to enhance your archery, not to attack folk). (Which I just noticed you already said, my bad).

Just remember that according to the Complete Divine errata, you need to take Extend Spell and Persistent Spell before you can take Divine Metamagic (persistant spell). It's still good, but now takes a lot of feats to accomplish.
