I'm looking to play a Cleric in an upcoming game of Dragonlance.

However, in my opinion, most of the cleric prestige classes that have been supplied are under the impression most clerics are either a good healer, or an evil necromancer.

All of the other classes seem to get flashy prestige classes as a rule, but I feel the clerics have been over looked.

Admittedly, I started to play a cleric because no one else in my group wanted to be the cleric, and I have since found them to be a good all-around class with options depending up on your alignment.

For an example, I was a healing cleric once, but I got frustrated at my group for not going fast enough, and the monsters didn't think I was a threat. Because I was 'in a guise of a good healing cleric', I was able to pass through the monsters almost untouched and poisoned them all by touch attack. Because all my healing prestige class did was heal, when I hit the reverse of the spell, my bonuses were so high, most of them died in two rounds. Thankfully I usually always go with a chaotic alignment so it's as I see fit :)

I'm looking for a new kind of flashy prestige class that gives clerics a chance to show off some of their powers. The gods don't want clerics to be all good all the time. They wouldn't give them choices if that was true.

If anyone has some thoughts, or even already built classes, I'd really appreciate any feedback for me.
