It seems to me that Handle Animal would be a more logical choice, especially since the associated granted power is Speak with Animals. Am I wrong? Any reasons why Handle Animals would not be appropriate? I am trying to anticipate any reservations my DM might have to my substituting Handle Animals for Knowledge (Nature) for my cleric. Thanks! |

Thus a Cleric might have it as a class skill (due to a granted power for example), but still not be able to use it until a rank is purchased in it. I believe the core rules attempt to avoid this by making any granted powers which make a skill a class skill for the Cleric, not a trained skill (the granted power from the Knowledge domain being an exception due to making ALL Knowledge skills into class skills). However, as long as you and your DM are OK with this, it is a balanced house rule. |
