I am about to start a campaign at first level as a Neutral Good Human Cleric of Fharlanghn (sp.) I am planning on carrying a Quarterstaff as a general weapon (as it is the favored weapon), while having a shield and mace for big battle.

My question is does anyone have a suggestion for what two feats I should go for?
I have not rolled up the stats yet but I want to have an idea for everything else going in...

You can't go wrong with scribe scroll and improved initative.

Extra Turning will come in handy if you don't have a high Charisma score.

The meta-magic feats work well for clerics. And it depends if you also want to be a melee cleric. If so..when you get to 6th and 9th levels.. you will want to have planned.

Power Attack : When "buffed" a cleric gets great to-hit numbers,
continue to use your staff without a shield, and use the 1:2 ratio
for damage.
Divine Might (DoF,CW): Apply charisma to damage.
Extended : Use for spells like spikes, which add +1/lvl damage on wooden weapons.
Persistent (ToB) : Use this for spells like divine favor and divine power at higher levels.
Reach : Use this for healing spells, so you don't have to leave your location to heal a buddy.
