remedial rules question: how does a cleric's or paladin's shield interact with a divine focus? supposing they want to cast a spell or turn undead(or use a divine feat, which i figure should require a Divine Focus if it doesn't already) when holding a heavy shield? are such people limited to light shields? i for one don't see a paladin as using a small shield, but rather a huge one(maybe a tower shield, if they have fighter levels). But, holding a heavy shield doesnt let them hold a DF. clarifications, please. ...sudden thought: how about a heavy shield that IS a divine focus. Like one shaped oddly and made out of silver or mithral, and it would cost a lot...
