Settra 05-13-04, 08:08 AM	Hi, one of my friends is kind of "re-starting" his RP, and I want to start as a cleric. Does anyone know of a race that is especially fit to the cleric class? :confused: (exept from those in players handbook.)? Thanks in advance PS. because of the "re-start", we are starting in the third level.
Zelphi 05-13-04, 08:31 AM	I assume you mean one that has a Cha and/or Wis bonus? You'd have to check the campaign books. I think Aasimaar was the obvious choice. Then again some of them have ECL which can actually subtract from their overall abilities as they loose out on levels.

Sensei Gith 05-13-04, 09:24 PM	If you're a cleric, you don't want a LA. Period. Try Gold Dwarf (FRCS)— it's mostly like the PHB one, but it gets -2 Dex instead of Cha, bonuses against aberrations instead of orcs, and other minor changes.
