Can you use Persistent Spell w/ Polymorph?

Can a cleric with the spell domain and Divine metamagic(persistent spell) use the Greater Any spell to cast polymorph and use divine meta magic to have it all day (24 Hours through persistent spell)?

09-23-05, 04:53 PM No. Persistant Spell can only be applied to spells that have a range of Personal or have a "fixed range." Polymorph has a range of Touch, which is not considered a "fixed range." Thus, you cannot Persist a polymorph spell.
