CLerics get access to spells from their domains but what is their access to the other spells that are in the players handbook? Do they get them all?

Yes. Clerics can prepare any of the spells on the cleric spell list in any book (if your DM allows it) without knowing them as a sorcerer or having a spellbook like a wizard or any other similar mechanic. The same is true for druids.

Actually, clerics might not be able to freely prepare domain spells outside of their domain slots. But apart from that, if it appears as a cleric spell on any book, and the DM allows material from that book, the cleric knows it.
