Cleric w/o Diety + War Domain [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-25-05, 11:09 AM If a Cleric that follows a purpose (rather than a specific diety) and takes the War Domain as one of their two domains, do they gain any benefit from the domain's Granted Power. If so, who decides what weapon the feats are granted for?

07-25-05, 11:15 AM um ... the DM and the Player? ... iirc there were weapons based on alignment in the PHb (3.0) for this ocassion

07-25-05, 11:28 AM I would say its between the player and DM... You could also use the weapons for the alignments as wolf said. I believe these options are also give in the Spiritual Weapon spell description.

07-25-05, 03:26 PM :D yeah, i knew this was one of those "rule zero" type questions. What I really should have asked was what guidelines other DM's use. Thanks for pointing out the 3.0 phb and Spirit Weapon entries. That's exactly what I was looking for!
