I'm not sure where this would go, so I put it here.

Is there a domain or a feat or a variant class ability that lets a cleric turn/rebuke Evil Outsiders?

There is an epic feat called Planar Turning That allows you to do this.

Also I believe the Planar Handbook has an alternate class feature that lets you spontaneously cast Banishment in exchange for spontaneously casting higher level curing spells.

Ah, so no real viable option for mid-level characters or something.

Divine Justice lets you spend a turning attempt to do extra damage to evil outsider. You can find it free online here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20061214a) on the main site.

Avenging Strike from the Tome of Battle page 28 also gives you bonuses when attacking evil outsiders.

Knight of the Chalice PrC from Complete Warrior also gets bonuses to attack outsiders but I can't think of any kind of turning for outsiders

Edit: I think I found you a variant close enough...

Look to the right of the page for Turning Undead Variant: Planar Banishment (http://forums.gleemax.com/leaving.php?destination=http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/variantClasses.htm)

There's a spell in Complete Champion- I don't have it in front of me, but I think it's called Turn Anathema that will allow the cleric to turn outsiders of opposed alignment for the spell's duration. I think it's a second level spell. That should suit what you're looking for- if you're willing to dish out $40 bucks.

I believe an apostle of peace from BoED can turn evil outsiders, but you have to have vow of poverty and vow of peace to qualify, though it does get 9th level spells too.

I believe Eberron also has many options for Clerics who can turn outsiders. Or at least, Clerics who can banish possessing outsiders. In Eberron all outsiders have the ability to possess mortals on the material plane, so these options are there incase the DM isn't using many undead (which only seem to show up in large numbers in the Mournland or in the Karnathi army), but commonly features people possessed by insidious plotting creatures from beyond the veil of reality.

Yes; the Exorcism domain has a 'zap possessing critter currently inside someone' ability. I plan on taking that domain.

Thing is, I don't know if the adventure path I'm on has possessing monsters; all I know is that it has big bad outsiders near the end, and thus I'm looking for a way to turn them.

I think jradd found your answer.

I think jradd found your answer.

Well, I found banishment, which isn't technically turning (but I figure it's close enough to what he wants functionally [I could be wrong; he might hate it, ha ha]), but now I'm kinda thinking of using the variant myself cuz it's pretty cool.

Actually, Redmantle has what I'm looking for.

Thanks, Redmantle. :)

Wait, you don't want to destroy the Evil Outsiders, you just want to banish them?
Wha?

No. The spell "Turn Anathema" lets you Turn (but not destroy) outsiders. Aside from the Planar Turning in the Epic book, there's no option to destroy undead with Turning.

Sure, I'll resort to Banishment (it's an Exorcism domain spell). But turning to keep them at bay is also usefulish.

Yeah, never mind. I deleted my post.
