Hello all. As some of you may remember, yesterday I was asking about a possible PrC for a mostly cleric/little bit Barbarian PrC. The suggestions I received were very helpful, and allowed me to construct a fairly decent PrC for Clerics of Kord/Barbarians. Note that the flavor is easily changable to any god with the Strength or War domains. Now, bear with my crappy layout as I haven't figured out how to nest a table in my posts. Without further ado, I present...

The Dvine Ravage of Kord
Divine Ravagers of Kord are the War Priests of Kord. They are paragons of strength and holy power, given blessings by Kord himself. They are found leading the charge against the enemies of Kord, destroying his enemies while keeping his allies alive.
To become a Divine Ravager of Kord, a character must have taken at lleast some cleric levels and Barbarian levels, but the prestige class is also attractive to those with levels in any martial class, as it enhances melee capabilities and gives a decent spellcasting progression as well. Paladins, with their lawful ways have diffculty understanding the furious fighting style of a Divine Ravager, and Druids, Rogues, and other spellcasters simply have no use for the Divine Ravager's abilities (though they do like it when a Divine Ravager is between them and their foes).
Hit Die: d10

Requirements
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Spells: Must be able to cast 3rd level divine spells.
Domains Must have access to the War or Strength Domain.
Skills: Intimidate 4 ranks, Knowledge(religion) 4 ranks.
Feats: Must have weapon focus with any martial melee weapon.
Special: Must be able to use the Rage ability at least 1/day.

Class Features
Skill Points at each level: 2 + intelligence modifier.
Class Skills: Craft, Heal, Intimidate, Knowledge(religion), Knowledge(the planes), Profession, and Spellcraft.
Spells: Add every odd level, a Divine Ravager of Kord gains new spells as if he had gained a level in any divine spellcasting class he has levels in. On even levels, he gains no new spells, but his caster level for a divine spellcasting class he has levels in increases by 1.
Attack Bonus: +1/level (as fighter).
Saves: Good fortitude, poor Reflex, good Will.

Special:
Level 1: Spell Rage, Damage Reduction 1/-.
Level 2: Rage +1/day.
Level 3: -
Level 4: Vicious Charge.
Level 5: Bonus Domain, Damage Reduction 2/-.
Level 6: Rage +1/day
Level 7: -
Level 8: Vicious Critical.
Level 9: -
Level 10: Greater Rage, Rage +1/day, Damage Reduction3/-.

Spell Rage: The Divine Ravager of Kord may seem like a mindless berserker, but he has learned to channel spells even while in a full rage. He can use Divine Spells and the Turn Undead ability (if he has it) even while raging.
Damage Reduction: Upon entering this class, Kord fortifies the body of the Ravager against physical blows, and the Ravager gains DR1/-. This Damage reduction increases to DR2/- at fifth level, and to DR3/- at tenth level. This damage reduction stacks with any already gained as a barbarian class feature.
Extra Rage: At Second level and every 4 levels thereafter (6 and 10) a Divine Ravager of Kord gains an additional use of his Rage ability. These are also Spell Rages.
Vicious Charge: Divine Ravagers of Kord are capable of tremendous violence. At fourth level, any time a Divine Ravager strikes a foe with a charage attack while raging, the defender must make a fortitude save with a DC of 10 + Divine Ravager Class level + Divine Ravager Strength modifier (which includes the bonus for raging) or be stunned for 1 round. This ability is ineffective against foes immune to critical hits.
Bonus Domain: At fifth level, a Divine Ravager gains an additional domain selectable from the list his deity offers.
Vicious Critical: At 8th level, a Divine Ravager's critical hits become overwhelming. Any time he confirms a critical hit, the target must succeed on a fortitude save with a DC of 10 + Divine Ravager Class level + Divine Ravager Strength modifier (which includes the bonus for raging) or be stunned for 1 round. This does not stack with the Vicious Charge class feature (so if the Divine Ravager hits with a charage and confirms a critical in one attack, the target must only make 1 save). This ability is ineffective on foes immune to critical hits.

Whew! that was a long post! Please give me any feedback you can on this one. It seems powerful to me, and I'm worried about it being overpowered, but on the other hand, it loses a lot of the abilities a pure Barbarian or Cleric would get. Is it a fair trade?

Sounds like a good class. Just a couple questions though. The DR that it gets, does that stack with Barb DR? Also, the vicious critical you have there is actually an epic feat, called overwhelming critical. It is a little different, and less powerful too, so it could pass.

Overall, I would say it is balanced. Good job!

Yes, the DR gained from Divine Ravager stacks with existing DR. is this unclear? Maybe I should edit... Also, I got the vicious charge idea from the Warrior in World of Warcraft, and Vicious Critical seemed like a natural progression. I like both abilities, but with a high strength (even higher because of rage) the save can become unbelievably high. I mean, at level 10, with a base strength of 15 (increased to 16 by levelling), with +6 from Greater Rage, and +4 from Bull's Strength (which the ravager can cast on himself) the save becomes 28... Actually, that's not THAT great, considering the saving throw bonuses of most monsters at that level. Maybe my fears are unfounded.

Well, a fort save DC 29 is pretty high at level 18. most CR 18 creatures that you fight will most likely not have a +19 required to have a 50/50 chance of passing.

As for the DR, I would put it in. Most PrCs that have DR as an extension of barb have a clause in there that says it stacks. As a general rule, Dr never stacks unless it explicitly says so.
