You may vote multiple names!
The poll closes in 10 days (6th may)

EDIT:
The result is obviously speaking for Gladius so there`s no need to delay the name giving any longer. If there`s not a wonder occuring in the next few days this poll will decide over the name our city will get.

If anyone doesn`t agree with this extraordinary spontaneaous rule he may complain here. A single complain and I will make another poll, going to the top 5 only.

04-30-04, 11:57 AM I would like to recommend that we skip the 'Top 10' vote and advance to a 'Top 5' vote instead. Considering the number of people involved in the arena and the option to vote for more than one name, I would ideally recommend making the next round of voting include ANY name that has at least 5 votes and discarding the rest.

@All - And if people really want to call it Motown (That name has already been used by the music industry to wide popularity), then all I can say is "Mo' power to ya!"

Just my 1/6th of a bit.

05-04-04, 02:39 AM Just so there is no doubt, I voted for Gladius, as I have always liked the name and felt that it would be a good descriptor for the city that was built up around the Arena. That being said....

@All - As I said in another post, I would think it very proper for the City to have names in different languages. I am actually a fan of the name Kim' kaleist (Battle Eternal) for the Elven tongue and Dormek (The Actual Name of Moradins Forge) for the Dwarven tongue. I am sure that many other names would/could be proper for other languages as well. Perhaps Fei'relder could mean something in Undercommon.

Note: Anything in Italics is my own personal spin on things and just flavor for the colorful world I envision. As always, people are free to agree or disagree.

At a future point I would like to hear some discussion on what people thought of naming different parts of town with different names, akin to the burroughs of Nwe York City. I have a preferred list for those and can come up with more if they are needed.
