Yes, its riduculous that you must click your heels to together to activate them when most other items need only a word. Actually, if you think about it if you have enough ride skill it shouldn't matter. You can mount and dismount as a free action with a couple ride checks so you can dismount (free w/ check), click heels (standard, act. magic item), mount (free w/ check) and still move. Plus, it will look cool for the crowd :). |
| Tellish_of_Ket03-08-04, 05:49 AM | You wouldn't need to dismount. As an experienced rider, you can easily bring your heels together above the horses head. It would be almost like sitting in a lounge chair with your feet up. Just quickly snap them up and voila. Or even without dismounting simply bring your leg over to the other side, tap, and re-saddle yourself properly. Both methods can easily accomplish this task. -ToK |
