This thread is dedicated to Dracazar (http://boards1.wizards.com/member.php?u=303884) who has changed the face of the Core Coliseum with his Mapmaker program and the Online Roller. On his request, I hereby open a thread where you can post problems encountered with his programs, requests for improvements, or just brainstorm for programs that could become reality somewhere in the future. If you're a coding specialist, you can also improve the current versions of the CoCo programs, like Mal2 for example, who wrote the Area of Effect codes for the Mapmakers.

I also want to mention Usurpator (http://boards1.wizards.com/member.php?u=269446) who has written the Pairingscrawler and the Pairingsmaker for me which saves me tons of time. I cannot imagine to do it without these programs. Cellardweller (http://boards1.wizards.com/member.php?u=233716) has written an ally calculator some time ago but he has taken it down from his homepage since his departure.

Computer programs open up completely new doors for the Core Coliseum, enabling us to do things normally not possible because of time constraints. It is people like Usurpator, Dracazar and Cellardweller who help us reach new heights. For that, the whole community expresses its gratitude to you guys!

This program is a tool for pitlords to calculate the Coefficient of Allies (CA) and how all brought allies affect the rewards. It is currently only available as a zip file since Cellardweller has taken it down. Perhaps someone can host it?

07-01-06, 10:33 AM Hi Drac! Here's a request for a cosmetic clean-up in the Pairingsmaker.

(1) The "Unknown Monster" assignment has a () behind its name. Please remove these parenthesis.

(2) The map tags should appear behind the pitlord name.

(3) Team Fights should use a "&" instead of "and".

(4) Please add a at the beginning of each pairing (I'd like to use lists). Example: Character (Player) vs. Character (Player) : XXXXX

(5) All tags that appear behind each pairing should be surrounded by (sup)(/sup) and (color=XXX)(/color). It should however only appear once per indidivual pairing and encompass all tags that are behind this pairing.

Example with one tag: Character (Player) vs. Character (Player) : XXXXX [Plains]
Example with two tags: Character (Player) vs. Character (Player) : XXXXX [Plains] [Team]

The color should be:
- "orange" for ECL 3-7
- "orangered" for ECL 7-11
- "teal" for ECL 12-15
- "darkorchid" for ECL 16-20

Alternative: If it cannot be done so that there's only one "sup" and "color" tag for all designations then just surround each one with seperate sup and color tags.

Example with two tags: Character (Player) vs. Character (Player) : XXXXX (COLOR=Orange)(sup)[Plains](/sup)(/COLOR) (COLOR=Orange)(sup)[Team](/sup)(/COLOR)
Replace () with [] around tags

On the map, can you put a duplicate distance calculator at the top? Some of the maps are so big, I can't see the one at the bottom while placing pins at the top.

The "Edit" screen in the Roller says "Commnet" instead of "Comment."

07-02-06, 02:00 AM I noticed some while ago, and so did some other people, but it's still happening: a result of 0 just goes blank. Try, for example, 1d1-1 for testing.

07-21-06, 04:10 PM I've been experiencing a glitch on the larger maps--sometimes, I'll click to place a pin, and the whole screen will suddenly scroll down and the pin will land several squares lower than where I intended.

Edit: Also, we ran across a bug with the campaign KU is running. Seems we somehow created two passwords for the same account. I don't know how it happened, but is sure shouldn't have.

07-24-06, 02:16 PM A feature I would like to have is a search function for specific sessions for the roller. Right now there's still a limited number of sessions - but being able to search by user or session name would make things nicer for later on (assuming it will benefit from a larger user base and heavier traffic in the future).

Its a nice to have - but certainly isn't required.

I'm looking for two volunteer for an experimental project:

I need two player that will do an ECL3 fight using the thread system to run the fight, I'll be the pitlord.

This challenge will not count as an Arena match (it should be not logged in your fight records), it is just experimental.

Also I would like two people quite active on the board, please reply with a PM or contact me with IM (yahoo)
