05-16-05, 12:21 PM Well, with the Scretary of Agriculture freshly dead, it seems there is an opening for one. Just for fun, I thought it would be interesting to get 2-3 candidates for the position and do some voting. If this sounds fun to anyone else, then let's do it. Otherwise, I'm sure this thread will disappear.

05-16-05, 07:32 PM Heh, that's a nice idea Uther. The problem is that there is no real storyline for Gladius. There's not a single known non-gladiator NPC, no government structure, and there are only a handful of reappearing locations inside or outside Gladius.

Once I find the time, I'll draw an overland map for Gladius and the world it is in. Perhaps we can then add some NPC persons too.

Ok, so who wants to become the new secretary of agriculture?

As for taking me out, how about this. Since you don't feel too confident on your own, how about you bring 3 of your friends from the EHTC and I'll bring 1 of my friends (Laph, I'm looking at you), and we'll have ourselves a little handicap match.

Don't worry, the nimbus will revive you. Although it won't clean your underpants so make sure you and your friends bring a change.

How do like the idea to fight in the Jindl-Park, it's still in the Nimbus, so no danger of losing a level.

Any 2 others, who will be determined soon.

This matchup will occur in the week of June 8. All parties involved make good preparation, for this fight will determine bragging rights until another match-up between good and evil occurs. Since the good side has a numbers diadvantage, Jindl Park. I will prepare a map in the coming weeks so everyone can get familiar with it, but I only ask a little roleplaying so there is a good reason for the fight.

Laph will stay in the Jindl-Park in his spare-time. He leaves it only for arena-fights.

A Poll would be neat, however, it will be hard to keep a running tally. Perhaps we could start a poll on the first post of this thread, or start a new thread and let it begin there, where you can vote for each of your characters and the creator of the post updates it regularly:

"These proceedings seem biased... biased in favor of Jindl of the High Forest." At this, Rin and her daughter walk to the ballot box. As they stand before the ballot box and two bowls stones - white stones representing Jindl and black stones representing Va'ria - Rin reaches out her slender hand and lavishly caresses the pile of white stones. She suddenly switches posture, grabs a black stone, casts it into the ballot box, and turns her back to Jin. Jin snatches a black stone, glares at her mother's back, and cast it into the ballot box. "It is done," replies Rin. "We pledge our allegiance to Va'ria Theladrais... for now."

Griff walks into the room at the exact right time to hear Jindi's taunting quip. Seeing as how two members of the E.H.T.C. are involved, and liking the idea of slaying an elf, Griff decides to cast his alleigence with Baelin and Nyte. "I shall join them then" Griff says throwing back his hood and staring up at the taller Jindi. "It has been to long since I have had the opportunity to practice new necromancy magic on an unconcious elven subject, this will be my golden opportunity" Griff grins evilly...

Looking to Nyte and Baelin and noting that neither of them sadly posesses much in the way of physical strength, he stares at Nyte and says, "May I suggest that our fourth and final ally be Trokk?" Grinning evilly, "That unwashed barbarian would round off my plans quite nicely" Looking up at Jindi once more, "You will remember this day that you spoke in folly!" Grinning he exits the room to make his way back to the E.H.T.C.

Not sure how my credits are right now, but I should have some before the 8th and i'd like to see how this all plays out first hand...;-)

05-26-05, 11:22 AM OOC: I thought it would be much more appropriate to include Va'ria in this fight, since she is the other candidate and the recent participant in a quest to frame JotHF.

So I would like to see Nyte included for his cocky remarks and Va'ria included for trying to fram JotHF. The remaining two positions can be filled with whatever expendable members of the EHTC that you see fit to include.

06-22-05, 10:58 AM A druid and pixie are in an excited discussion when another pixie floats into their presence, “I, Asmeroviel, pledge my allegiance to that of the High Forest, Jindl, with wishes to further he and the fellow pixie's, Laph Jeirehneen, cause in the forthcoming battle, should they desire my services…” After his brief statement, Asmeroviel removes his helm and bows deeply, awaiting reply.

Asmeroviel was not created until recently. If there is still time and room, he would like to join in this battle of good vs. evil if it will not cause too many problems or unfair ECL teams. Thanks for consideration,
