[Introduction]

As you approach the Warfare Alliance, the metal-man known as Gwar can be seen running down the street. Hey You! Stop!

However, he is simply too slow. A group of four seem to be running away from the Warfare Alliance - each heading down a different path.

You said you wanted to treat these four as "one" - so I'll do my best to refer to "you" rather than a particular one. Assign one to go down each path individually.

With a brief glance at each other, the decision was made. This was the creature they had ventured to see. Gwar, the leader of the guild that would be used as their base of operations while they infiltrated Gladius. Being surrounded by hardened warriors who thought you were friends with them and would be loyal was always a good way to begin. Loyalty could be used. At the right moment, it would be put to very good use....

As one, the dwarves who only referred to themselves as The Four Horsemen (having long ago given up keeping identities that conformed to the will of man), broke into a chase of the four beings that seemed to be fleeing from Gwar. With speed that seemed impossible for their size, they began the hunt all of the same mind. If these four had wronged Gwar or The Warfare Alliance in some way, then the judgement of the four would help gain them entrance and buy the loyalty they sought.

Bows whipped out from leather cases across the back of the four, and each began targeting a different adversary as they sprinted after them. The one on the far right, known now only as Death, aimed at the fleeing person that was also to the right.

Death brought his bow to aim and fired, just as the fleeing individual turned a corner - however his arrow missed its mark (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=353652) - slamming into the stone of the building nearby.

Can't make it too easy can I? :)

Death, snarling at the missed opportunity, draws another arrow as he makes his way around the same corner, hoping to catch sight of his fleeing adversary and bury an arrow in his head.

Of course not...I'm just waiting for the scythe I didn't see on his back to come out and crit and drop me in one hit LOL. Also...don't forget my conditional modifiers against the various races (orc/goblinoids, elves, and giants).

Moving after the fleeing opponent as fast as he can, Death rounds the corner and sees the opponent fleeing some more - dodging behind bystanders in the road.

He is visible to you now after a double move, but he has soft cover from intervening people. He's 60ft from you - and you do not have a charge line (because of the intervening people).

Meh...people schmeople. If they know what's good for them, they'll duck LOL.

Death begins to snake his way forward toward his prey, maneuvering through the people and letting lose a shot as soon as he has a clear line.

Advance 40 ft and fire again.

Death maneuvers through the crowds, his gaze locked on the fleeing individual. He sees an opening in the crowd, so he quickly levels his bow and fires again. This time the arrow (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=354645) hits, but clatters off of the man's chain shirt.

Sensing that the fleeing is not working so well, the man ducks into another alley - the entrance of which is 30ft from Death.

Advance around the corner and fire as soon as I have LOS (i.e. avoid walking into an AoO if I can help it). If no LOS, advance the full 40 ft and ready to fire upon LOS.

Just as Death rounds the corner, a javelin comes streaking towards him - but the thrower misjudged (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=356504) the distance and it comes to rest at Death's feet instead.

Death snarls that it would be his last mistake, pulls his bowstring back and fires, lodging (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=356505) the arrow in his opponent's shoulder.

Your opponent is 10ft away from you with a longsword in hand.

Death, seeing that his antagonist has finally decided to behave like a warrior instead of a coward, puts his bow away and draws his waraxe while advancing to the man, a bloodthirsty gleam in his eye.

Take a move action to stow the bow, close the distance to base while drawing my waraxe. From here, it will be melee attacks unless either he breaks contact (and I can't charge after him) or he hits me to below half my hit points. If he gets me below half, I can reassess then, but otherwise, feel free to run it out in melee.

Death closes with his opponent, carefully and methodically putting away his bow and drawing his waraxe. His opponent, seeing his life fleeting, draws his own sword in defence and attacks the dwarf, slicing (http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=358232) him across the thigh.

Death laughs coolly at the wound and strikes the opponent down mercifully.

Nicely done of course.

Death, after checking his surrounding for observers, leans back with his waraxe and hews the mans head from his shoulders. He then reaches down and rips his shirt off, wrapping the head inside. He puts his axe away, tosses the new bundle over his shoulder, and goes to find his bretheren.

Don't know if you need to or not, but you may want to include either the link or the roll in the post above showing my kill shot..as it reads, it looks like the end was just made up LOL
