Sindorin 03-18-06, 05:01 PM	Cyalin was ready to join the EHTC, after finally having found the place. He sat alone at one end of the long table in headquarters, awaiting his assignment. An envelope floated across the long table from the occupant of the seat next to the opposite head of the table, where Virgo Arkazzan sat. Next to him sat Va'ria Theladrais, from whom Cyalin knew he would benefit because there was much that she could teach him in the way of divination. He snatched the envelope out of the air, looked at it, then cast an interested look back down the long table. The occupants were gone, as was all light from the room, the fire gone out without a word of dying or death rattle. Cyalin opened the letter. It read: You are in. You are not a full member yet, however. Go and bring us the holy symbol of a priest in service of any good deity and you will be awarded full membership status within our ranks. He could tell that the note was written in the parabolically elegant scrawl that was Va'ria's writing, done with a minor telekinesis cantrip. Suddenly, Cyalin felt compelled to leave the headquarters. Once outside, he completely forgot where the it was located. Smiling to himself, he imagined that she had likely designed the spell to let him remember once he had acquired the item 'requested'. He set off to remedy this task.

Step back 5ft, cast grease so the edge of the spell hits the cleric. He falls prone, so cast Chill touch and move forward, trying to kill him via that route. His body comically smacks into the ground as he lies on his back, flailing his arms trying to get up. Cyalin dispatches him and takes his holy symbol, as well as a donation purse he is carrying that feels heavy. He returned the symbol to Va'ria at the EHTC and awaited his next assignment...
