Both witnessed the battle between the elven bladesinger and Zorander's evil brother, Ander Brogaden. In the end, the Celestial Forces asked Ebelin to join their ranks which was the first connection between a gladiator and the army of the heavens. Dusk wasn`t convinced yet but held his breath "BUT HE WALKS IN HERE AND MOCKS OUR IDEALS! AND HE IS EVIL! WHAT ELSE A REASON DO I NEED TO SLAY HIM?" - "Slay your enemy, and you have achieved a victory; bring him to the light, and you have won twice. Kedi smiled "You see, dear Dusk, you should really..." - "And to you I say this: though my heart is full of compassion your demeanor deserves nothing of it. Leave this house of peace and compassion, and come back when you understand and respect these ideals! Be it because of Ebelin's word, or Dusk's quickly exhausting patience, Kedi turned and left the Guild without another word. Powerful white wings can be seen propelling the mount and rider forward. A golden mail clad figure can be seen atop the pegasus guiding it with a firm but gentle hand. With a swirl of dust the creature settles in the courtyard. The rider dismounts and doffs his Golden helm to reveal an elvish face and long flowing black hair. He turns and address the matron of the Celestial forces who awaits him with a slight smile on her sculpted lips. My greetings Ms. Jade. My journey has been harrowing but even so, I appologize for not arriving sooner. With that said he falls to one bent knee and proffers his sword. These are times of temptation and weakness. I hereby swear to you and my guildmates that I shall turn every ounce of strength I possess to discovering those who have fallen low and deliver them to justice. |

| kattattack2205-04-04, 04:47 PM | A thin wriath of smoke rose toward of the starlight sky near Gladius. Arkin looked at it wearily sensing that his hunt was near an end. He thought back to how his hunt began again in an effort to prepare himself for what he might find. On his way back to his hidden hollow Arkin ran across the smoking bits of hay lying in a circle that had once been a hut. Two dead humans lied on the ground nearby with horror stuck upon their faces. The woman's flesh was torn from the born and some pieces were on the ground around her. There should be more, she is showing bone yet only a few scraps of flesh lie here. The man has odd burns on his face. They seem to a circle at first then there are four points coming off the top and one to the side almost like a star. Wait, not a star. A palm. I must investigate before others fall to this villiany. A wind began to blow revealing the starry night. What is that horrid smell? The wind should have carried away the corpses's smell. As Arkin looked for the source of the new odor he saw now a thick column of smoke billowing from the woods to the northwest. I must not have noticed that earlier with the clouds. It might be those responsible or at least someone that might have seen what happened here. Arkin stuck to the shadows of the clearing as he summoned his magic and could feel the energy crackling in his hands ready at moments notice. The tiny glowing embers and ashes of a fire sat in the center of the clearing. Seeing nothing else Arkin cautiously approached the glowing embers. The ashes seem unusually piled with several peaks rather than a single pile or a scattering like most campfires. By Boccob's Blessed magic! Drawing with his arms the ancient draconic symbol of the sun Arkin spoke calling forth light to his hand. The now glowing hand provided enough illumination for him to confirm what the wind partially revealed underneath the ashes. It's small skeleton, black from the fire! Someone must have brought it here, but why? Why burn it and leave the others out in the open? Maybe not burn, but cook... Arkin could not finish the revolting thought. The Celestial Forces should be informed. Perhaps with their help, the perpetrator will be found. The next day Arkin went to the Celestial Forces headquarters to discuss the carnage he discovered. |

Well, I think this was pretty fun trying out missions. Thanks for your great posts, kattattack. I don't want the missions to seem like obligations or exercising authority or anything. It's just for fun, so if you don't want to, there's no obligation to accept. Or, let me know by PM if there are any missions you want to complete, and I'll come up with something here. Also, thanks for the suggestions on reorganization, Cat. I've also put down some titles for everyone, but they were just the first ideas I had. If you would rather be called something else, just let me know. |

I devoted my life to the destruction of evil such as him. I sense there is more work for me to be done. I hear the one called Matei is cruel and ruthless fighter. If Boccob smiles on me I may find this one and put an end to his vile acts. May the stars guide you to enlightment and happiness." A determined Arkin pulled his hood over his head again after saluting Dusk and Jade. Immediately making for the door as to seek out Matei. |

Hiding in the dark is the vage form of a man. Crouching in his postion for hours on end he finally catches a break when the guardsmen switch out for the night, and while the doors are open he contaminates the place with his presance. One hand in the folds of his robes the other fiddling with a note in the other. Slipping in and out of view he seems to be looking for something. Finally he reaches the main hall and darts to the front of the room. He slips into an office-like room to the side. There he rumages through all the file or books that might contain the names of the beings in this asosiation. No luck her name does not appear in any of the information or in in of the books. Lillith has to be somewhere else. " I will find her" is barly atuoable as he stoops to clean his mess quickly. He then exits the place the same way he came in, and without hurting a soul. Not good to make too many enemys right off the bat. |

She had been away for some time, but her services were required as the Celestial Forces suffered many recent setbacks. We must gather our strength, and stand together against the rising evil. She has a little girl in her arms and a small crowd of children that have been following at her feet listening to all of her stories and asking plenty of questions. She may not be the most attractive or the most eloquent, but she has a warm heart and loves the people. For some parents, she is a baby-sitter for the morning, for others the maternal figure that their child is missing, and yet for even more, she is the young elven woman who stepped into their lives bringing healing and encouragement. This morning, Clìodhna is nurturing the spirtual side of the children and decides to stop by the Celestial Forces HQ. Does anyone know who lives in this building? A few of the children look around puzzled, but one of the little boys is jumping up and down shouting... IXIDOR! This is where the angle lives! I heard he's scary! He kills all the bad guys! My daddy's afraid of him... Yes, Ixidor lives here, and that's an-GEL, honey. <Turning to look at all the children> Archangel Ixidor is a messenger of the gods. He isn't here to hurt good people, so your father will be fine. Ixidor is here as a testament to the power of the gods, and he can be seen as an encouragement to all. <Clìodhna steps forward and lets loose with two small force bolts, knowing that they would do no damage to the beautiful doors before her, but serve as a sort of 'knock' that would entertain the children.> Let's see if he is home today... Notes ... in white Just for clarity, these are young children. Clio has taught the children that Angels are not scary and that they love children. None of the children would be likely to bow to the angel, nor would they cower (Except for the one who's father is afraid) . Clio feels that it is very important to instill the knowledge of god into the children, and what better representitive that the Celestial Forces? Clio has healed each and every one of these children at one time or another, and she has spent a great deal of time with them. She may have a low Charisma, but she has a high Intelligence and a high Wisdom, and she uses these to the best of her ability when working with the kids. There are about 12-16 kids with her ranging from 5 to 10, except for the 3 year old she is carrying in her arms. |

A small crowd of children surrounding a lithe woman, obviously an elf from the pointed ears holding back her brown hair. The stood before the doors almost... expectantly. Arkin approached lowering his hood. "Are you waiting for someone? Perhaps, I may be of assistance as I am member of the Celestial Forces." Notes: Arkin has met some children before telling them a really sad story. Plus, he has a dark countance with black hair and eyes that some find unsettling. Not to mention he is quite tall for halfling. |

Arkin then entered to large hallway with massive white columns large windows letting in lots of light fully illuminating the mosiac on the floor of angelic figures battling sinister demons and devils of all sizes. The Hallway led to large stair case that led up to small landing just before a set of double wooden doors. Another pair of doors lie below the landing to either side of the staircase. "This is our entryway so to speak. On the walls is a list of past and current members along with the outline of the Forces's mission here in Gladius. Sorry if you are not able to read it since it is all in the Celestial tongue. The doors to either side of the staircase led off into separate wings of the building. The left leds off into sleeping quarters. The right leds to the armories and our library. The stairs led up to Grand Hall where we convene and meet with our leader for missions. If there are no objections next I would like to show you our library." Waif for any objections. |

Some the kids 'ooo' and 'ah' the impressive sight while a few other turn and whisper to their neighbor in amazement. Arkin waits few seconds then making some quieting gestures continues on. "It may not seem as high from the outside because of the magic used in building this place allowed for creating an 'extradimensional space' in this room so we would always have enough room for our books. The bookcases built into these four walls go from floor all they way up to that celing. Often times to reach a certain tomb the permanet unseen servants have to be called on to retrieve it. I shall demonstrate. Servant Uvonhris, Retrieve Filitresor's volume of legends, authorization Arkin. A few moments later a large dusty red leather book floated down in front of Arkin and he took into his small hands. "Thank you, there you have it. Here, you may have a look at this book it is harmless," Arkin hands the large book one of the children. "We have many important tomes in here so the servants will only respond to members. The magic used to make them allows them to recognize members by such things as voice, appearance, and even scent." "This is my favorite place in the whole building. So much knowledge all in one place, reminds me of Mauir's library..." "Anyway, I believe you said the children wanted to see Ixidor. If you don't mind waiting here. I will see if he is in. Maybe you could read them a short story from that book while you wait. What do you say?" |

I know that Arkin, here, has been keeping their attention for a while and I have to admit, mine too. I was never invited to visit the Celestial Forces, but I knew that I wanted to, sooner or later. As they all walk out, Clio steals a few final glances and secretly wishes to return one day without the children and have more time to take in the beauty of such a magnificent building. Once Clio has made sure that the children are all outside and accounted for, she turns to Arkin and says Arkin, again I want to say thank you. I look forward to seeing you in the future. May the gods smile on your life and may the forces of good always guide your heart and stay your hand; for it is with great love and even greater patience that truely monumental deeds can be done in this world! Clio heads down the street quietly talking to the children. Some are asking questions. A few turn and look back, waving a final goodbye to Arkin. As the sun starts to decend on the horizon, Clio makes her way from house to house ensuring that the children all get home safely. Finally she makes it to the house of the young babe she has been carrying in her arms. She knocks on the door and enters as the large, lumbering man within the door invites her with a wave of his arm. Maggy got to see the Celestial Forces today. Unfortunately Archangel Ixidor was unavailable, but maybe she can meet him in the future. Clio hands the sleepy Maggy off to her father. Thanks Clio. I always appreciate you watching over Maggy for me. She really does love you, and since her mother passed away she has been looking for that maternal figure. Clio just smiles and heads back out. On her way home, Clio stops and heals a few people that are in the city streets. A few need minor curing, a few more need to have their diseases removed. She quickly and quietly makes her rounds. Once she has healed all that she can, she softly wipes the tears from her eyes. Momentarily Clio starts home, but instead she turns and decides to visit Cat's Alley first. A good story always lifts the heart. I think I shall spend some time listening to the bards spin their tales while I enjoy my dinner with a nice glass of wine. Then I can go home. And that is exactly what she did... |

He didn't notice Arkin when he joined his elven friend but he gave him a smile and a gentle hand on his shoulder. Clio is a good person. She cares for the ones without parents, and takes the weight of disease from the shoulders of the ill; what better a member can we hope to get? Ebelin fell silent for another moment, then turned to Arkin My thoughts speak loud to me, and are prompting me to go to Harmoneous Jade, to ask the magnificnt one to make an exception with Clio. I know that this is the place for goodly beings not from this world but she will be a good addition indeed. What does my little and most wise friend say to this? |

My intention is not so slight you, or the Celestial Forces, but I take few things in life lightly. I must retire for some time and consider what I have to offer the Celestial Forces and where their tenets lie within my personal goals and beliefs. I have always dedicated my life to the welfare of those who have not been blessed as I have, and I have never been much of a combatant. That being said, I do understand that there is a time and a place to take up the sword and shield, the scroll and wand, the tongue and gesture – there are so many ways that one can serve the greater good. I have read the core tenet when I visited the Celestial Forces HQ - Oppose fiendish armies, and powerful evil individuals and organizations. This is something that I can stand by. What I am unsure of is if there isn’t more that can be done. I am so much of a support individual. I am the one who hits the streets and tends to the sick and the poor. I am the one who is mother to many, sister to a few and care-taker for a precious few who have no one else to attend to them. Recently I spoke with Arkin. As we parted, I told him “…it is with great love and even greater patience that truly monumental deeds can be done in this world!” and it is a statement that I stand behind. Regardless of my decision, I encourage you to spend time with the little people in the world. The most incredible way to change the world is by nurturing the children. They will grow up to be the adults in the years to come. When I first came to Gladius, it was to test my abilities and grow and mature into the princess that my father needs me to be. With the loss of my brothers, the mantle of ruling my fathers kingdom may well fall on my shoulders. This is also something that I have to take into consideration. I am not afraid of battle, nor am I afraid of losing; I have done both many times. As I said, I am going to spend some time in meditation over the offer you have given me. My father has always told me to be cautious of the alliances I make, but reminded me that without alliances you stand alone. So, as I weigh all the aspects of this offer, I ask for your patience and understanding. "Blessed Boccob, may your illuminating light show the way to removing the demonic taint from my magic. Am I right to suspect... The magic suddenly cut off and Arkin felt a great emptiness. He saw a messanger had stepped into the circle breaking the magical current. "Excuse me Master Arkin, you are summoned to the Celestial Forces Headquarters." The halfling mystic glared at the messanger until his anger subsided, "I will be there shortly, next time disturb not my circle." |

| Caterane07-25-04, 01:41 PM | Three days and three nights the heads of the 3rd Choir spend in the Warchamber, discussing about the next steps the Celestial Forces are going to take against the Ancient Evils. On the fourth day it was that the gigantic double doors opened again and let the daylight that radiated from the beings inside flood the outer halls again, lantern archon messengers heading in all directions to inform the troops. It was one of these archons that summoned Cliodna to Ixenthor, actually the first time she was about to see the magnificent archangel who made himself rare even within the organization. Dressed in her finest robes the elven princess entered the Grand Hall of the Celestial Forces. Massive white stone pillars supported the far away ceiling, ornately mureals decorated the smooth walls and the whole chamber was illuminated in a divine light that banished all fears and doubts. Three beings were in the Hall: Skymoon Moonbow - the elven paladin clad in his polished fullplate and apparently ready for battle, and Rhengarvin Salmas, one of the old sages from Sigil. It was the third being however that stole Cliodna's breath. Hovering one feet above the ground she saw an Archangel for the first time! White light filaments extended in all directions and waved softly up and down as if moving in a light breeze though no wind blew in this room. An aura of power and peace surrounded this divine being, and Clio couldn't resist but bow her head before him. With a firm voice that echoed from all directions and repeated every spoken word more than once the being addressed the princess. "CLIODHNA D'ELRICH CLIODHNA D'ELRICH IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU HOWEVER THE PLEASURE TO MEET YOU HOWEVER THE CURRENT SITUATION FORCES ME TO POSTPONE FORCES ME TO POSTPONE ANY AQUINTANCE TO A LATER POINT TO A LATER POINT." - "I...I would never drea..." - "AN ANCIENT EVIL HAS BEEN SET FREE AN ANCIENT EVIL HAS BEEN SET FREE WITHIN THE HIGH FOREST THE DRUIDS COULD NOT FOREST THE DRUIDS COULD NOT STOP IT BUT IT MUST NOT REACH ITS DESTINATIONREACH ITS DESTINATION! Herrix walks the streets for a few hours thinking about what to do. Finally, he finds himself in front of the Celestial Forces HQ ... He knocks twice, waits, steps into the streets and yells, for all to hear... What events turn the good against good? Why would an angel be attacking the innocent? Look into my soul, and you will find that I am good. I may not be pure as the snow, but I am good. Do I not help turn the tide of evil? Do I not help those in need? Are the angels falling? Who can answer me? Clio comes to the door of the Celestial Forces HQ. She slowly opens the door and listens to what Herrix has to say. My friend Herrix. I have listened to your story. I have searched your heart. You believe what you say, and for that I am given cause to cry. I will search out the truth. If this was an angel, and not some illusion, then there is cause for question.
