| Sjiggie01-17-07, 11:53 PM | Ephraim just finished his dance with Marcus in the Angelic Refuge tavern and has a drink at a table with him when a boy enters the tavern. He lookes tired and as he has travelled a long way. At the bar the boy asked something when the bartender points at the table Ephraim is sitting at. The boy quickly moves to the table. I'm sorry to interrupt you but I bear a message from Redgaven. Can we talk somewhere privat? He stands a bit nervous at the table and awaits the answer. |
| Erithmu01-18-07, 12:00 AM | Ephraim smiles at the boy, I don't remember a Redgaven, but this table is as private as needed. Ephraim scanned the room looking for a table near the back should the boy persist. Am I supposed to know who Redgaven is? Cause I'm drawing a blank at the moment. |
| Sjiggie01-18-07, 12:09 AM | Very well then. The boy takes a seat at the table. Redgaven send me because he's worried about Mitch Walker he is a local paladin who is fighting a demon cult in Promethia. He embarked on a mission against the cult and he hasn't reported back for 2 weeks now. His group is afraid to sent a rescua party since Mitch was the strongest man in the group. Redgaven sended me to look for you in the hope you could try to find out what happend to him. This is all that I know. If you want to help us I suggest we leave tommorow at dawn. I'm very tired of the ride to here and I think you can use some rest as well. Redgaven is the high priest of Pelor in Promethia and the father of Sir Valkin. |
| Erithmu01-18-07, 12:20 AM | Spiffy ... I don't think Ephraim would know that, or at least not Valkin's connection Ephraim looked at Marcus who shrugged. After today I'm not sure what to think. You have the clearer mind, I will follow. Ephraim smiled back at Marcus. Tomorrow morning it is then. |
| Sjiggie01-18-07, 04:03 AM | The boy quickly took a room and went to bed. The next morning all gatherd in front of the tavern and rode towards Promethia. When they arrived in Promethia the boy quickly showed you the way to the temple. Inside you where welcomed by a young cleric who showed you the way into the chamber of Redgaven. Redgaven was sitting behind a marble desk with the symbol of pelor in it. Staples of paper where lying on the desk and from behind he looks at you. Please sit down, we have some urgent things to discuss. A few weeks ago our church started to loose followers. We we're puzzled why. It's normal to gain and lose some to the other deitys but this time the other dietys lost followers to. I decided to have our group of faithfull warriors to search for the couse. They found out that our lost brothers where converted to worship a powerfull demon who wants to take over Promethia and from here the rest of this coninent. We quickly reacted to the threat and Mitch was sended to battle a section of the demon cult. Unfortunalyhe hasn't returned from his mission. Normally I would cal for the help off my son. But he has to attend his own business so I turned to you. Are you willing to help us? Redgaven looks to you with hopefull eyes. Wel you don't have to know Redgaven for him to know you. Maybe words have spread in Promethia about your campaign in Achos and liberating Marcus from his captors ;) |
| Erithmu01-18-07, 09:54 AM | Ephraim took a deep breath at the comments. Of course, what do you know about the cultists? |
| Sjiggie01-18-07, 03:23 PM | We don't know much about the cultits, the only things we know is that it is a mixed group of humanoids who somehow managed to contact e demon. Slowly they have been gathering followers to aid them in their evil plans. We believe that they have a base of operations in a old temple of Fharlanghn just outside the city walls. There is a rumor that the cultist even managed to already bring in some minor demons. It will be a matter of time before my worst nightmare will come true. The temple is not far from tow you can reach it this day if you want. If you want to rest after your journey first I can understand. |
| Erithmu01-18-07, 09:49 PM | Just a minor OOC: Ephraim and Marcus have never 'technically' been to Gladius, all of the previous tales are in Promethia, the bar listed is actually in Promethia. So they are 'well rested' :) Ephraim nodded We will leave presently then, only a guide should be needed who can leave when we are too close for his liking. |
| Sjiggie01-19-07, 11:20 AM | Oops my bad:rolleyes: I'm glad you're willing to help us. I will send one of our apprentices with you to show you the way to te temple. Come back to me after you found out what happend to Mitch and the cultist please. Redgaven rings a bell and a moment later a young apprentice walks in the room. This young man will lead you to the temple, I wish you good luck. The apprentice leads Ephraim and Marcus through the streets of Promethia to the east gate. You follow the road for a while when a bit farther on the road is a junction. The apprentice stops. If you go left on the junstion you will facing the front of the temple. It will be guarded so I go back to my duties at the temple now. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Outside-Temple-1.jpg Ephraim Marcus Tell me how you want to get to the temple. You where told that it was guarden but you don't know it for sure. Also if you want to buff you can do now or later |
| Erithmu01-19-07, 11:30 AM | Describe the building: windows, roof, mainly areas of glass that might give an idea of where we can get in. you will find that Gravity is very 'relative' for Ephraim. Known Prebuffs: Marcus: - 1 pp Inertal armor (over channel + talented for 7 hr duration) (now) - Regain focus - 1 pp force screen (right before entry) - 5 pp vigor (right before entry) Ephraim: - 1 pp + 2 surge Expansion (now) (40 min) - 1 pp Force screen (right before entry) - 5 pp+2 surge vigor (right before entry) |
| Sjiggie01-19-07, 07:13 PM | Ephraim and Marcus thank the guide and prepare themselves for battle. Marcus strengthens himslef with the powers from his mind. Ephraim is able to grow twice his normal size due to his force of will. Both carefull aproach the building. At the junction takes Ephraim cover behind a tree and sees the entrance. The building is made of stone and a wooden roof. In the walls are 2 small windows and a large wooden door. The door is guarded by a half-orc and 2 medium doglike creaturs. The guards haven't spotted Ephraim yet and see as if the're relaxed. Marcus knows that the doglike creatures are hell hounds. Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 Expansion (end round 401) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 Inertial Armour (long) focused http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Outside-Temple-round-0.jpg Any change in plans you got a surprise round |
| Erithmu01-19-07, 07:20 PM | Continue w/ buffing for Ephraim do Vigor first and try to hide displays so that I can just buff without being bothered. Edit: Marcus is going to need his focii here in a second. - gear that the half-orc has from this range? |
| Sjiggie01-19-07, 07:32 PM | The orc wears full plate armor, has a spiked shield in his left hand, a sword at his side and a bow across his back. The hell hounds have no gear on them. Marcus is focused I figured that the battle hasn't started so he could take 10 to regain his focus. Tell me if you want to continue in the same order of buffing for Marcus or not. I will edit it in. Ephraim enervation 66% no Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 Inertial Armour (long) focused All rolls here (http://www.hwx.it/wizards.com/dice.php?sid=1030) |
| Erithmu01-19-07, 07:40 PM | Nah ... Surprise round: Marcus will step out into the center line and fire a 7pp (Overchannel + Talented) energy missile cold hitting all three for 7d6+7 Fort 21 for half Ephraim will move around the trees and step between Marcus and the orc, declare the orc her dodge target and see who wins init. |
| Sjiggie01-19-07, 08:05 PM | As Ephraim moves out from his cover unleashes Marcus a powerfull missle and almost freezes the half-orc and 1 hell hound the hell hound freezes stiff and falls dead. The other hound manages to avoid a part of the attack. Initiative: Half orc 24 Hell Hound 1 20 Marcus 18 Ephraim 13 Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 43/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 45/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Half-orc -36/xx hp AC: xx Hell Hound 1 -18/xx hp AC:xx Hell Hound 1 -36/xx hp AC:xx dead http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Outside-Temple-R1.jpg Will continue tommorow |
| Erithmu01-19-07, 08:09 PM | Before the Orc does something, the hell hound has vulnerability to cold and should be dead. Stat block should be Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 34/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 42/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Overchannel doesn't provide pp, it just makes the power at a higher ML. |
| Sjiggie01-20-07, 07:45 AM | I'm sorry you're right I shouldn't try to run a battle at late night when I've only slept 4 hours the night before :S. The half-orc quickly knocks on the door before he cast a spell. Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 34/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 42/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Half-orc -36/xx hp AC: xx (buff 1) Hell Hound 1 -27/xx hp AC:xx dead Hell Hound 1 -54/xx hp AC:xx dead |
| Erithmu01-20-07, 09:56 AM | Marcus will use a 5 pp EM (Fire) (5d6+5 rflx DC 19) Ephraim will manifest Force Screen move up and base the half orc. Also I just noticed ... but w/ the orc rolling a 1! on his save from the first EM. Need to check to see if any of his items blow up. Don't worry about it if the EM(fire) kills him. |
| Sjiggie01-21-07, 06:32 PM | The energy missile flies straight to the half-orc. The half-orc seems ready to dodge the missile but his armor makes him slow to react and he is hit in his chest by the missile that fries the half-orc while he falls dead to the ground. Cold damage deals 1/4th damage to object or 9 points from your first EM after being reduced by hardness is there to little damage left to destroy any object. I didn't know the rule till now but have read it carefully. So if you don't mind I will not role saving throws for the weapons. I didn't update the map since the EM kills the half-orc |
| Erithmu01-21-07, 07:52 PM | Works for me... Ephraim wasted no time in seeing what was coming out the doors. She quickly moved to the doors and listen to hear what might be coming to answer. Marcus moved up. I don't mind going fast here, quests don't have to wait on the time roll, so I would love to get into combat before my buffs wear off. |
| Sjiggie01-23-07, 04:10 PM | Ephraim moves to the door and tries to hear what is going happening at the other side of the door but he can't hear it clearly. He believes that there is at least 1 person in the room behind the door. Let's say that 1 minute has passed since the last fight. Any buffs before entering |
| Erithmu01-23-07, 04:38 PM | Ephraim and Marcus nodded at each other as they heightened their psionic protections. Marcus stood to a bit to the side as Ephraim opened the door. Both will manifest Force screen and then we open the door. Marcus should be off set just in case something comes flying out of the doors. |
| Erithmu01-26-07, 04:02 PM | :bump: |
| Sjiggie01-26-07, 04:15 PM | Sorry for the delay school took away lots of time. I'm not home right now will continue the quest tommorow. |
| Sjiggie01-29-07, 11:40 AM | Ephraim carefully opened the door it leads into a small room with a fountain in the middle. Everywhere are blood spatters in the room and the fountain holds a reddish liquid. As soon as Ephraim opened the door he saw 2 humanoids with some demonic looks going to the sides. Initiative: Marcus: 19 Dwarf: 12 Ephraim: 8 Orc: 1 Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 33/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 36/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Dwarf AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) Orc AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Entry-Hall-Temple-1.jpg Dwarf Orc Ephraim is just outside the door on the south with Marcus next to him. The orc wears breastplate and a greataxe, the dwarf full plate a shield and a flail. |
| Erithmu01-29-07, 03:26 PM | If Marcus can target the dwarf run a 7pp augmented Ego whip (overchannel+Talented focus) at him. Ephraim will do a 5pp +2 surge ego whip at the orc. Both should be Will DC 19 |
| Sjiggie01-30-07, 09:42 AM | Marcus adjust his position with a 5ft step and targets the dwarf's ego. After the attack the dwarf seems not as though anymore and stands drooling. Ephraim also tries to attack the ego off the orc but some demonic power stops his attack on the orc. The orc moves quickly out if sight from ephraim. All rolls here (http://www.hwx.it/wizards.com/dice.php?sid=1057) Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 28/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 29/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Dwarf AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) -5 Cha dazed Orc AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) (Buff 2) The orc moved to the south west corner off the map. The dwarf is dazed this round. |
| Erithmu01-30-07, 09:49 AM | Repeat actions, Ephraim will be moving into the room to get at the orc. Marcus will expend his crystal's focus for his overchannel. Ephraim will also declare her dodge target to be the orc. BTW: those SR checks should be at +7 for both |
| Sjiggie01-30-07, 10:00 AM | Marcus attacks the ego of the dwarf one more time. This time his ego is crushed and he falls unconscious. Ephraim squeezes himself through the door to attack the orc. This time his attack is succesfull and he let the orc stand dazed in the corner. Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 23/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 22/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Dwarf AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) -8 Cha unconscious Orc AC: ?? hp: xx/xx (Buff 1) (Buff 2) -7 Cha Dazed I just wanted to edit my post to say I made a mistake with the spell resistance rolls. But Ephraim still fails the first with that roll. Ego Whip for the win? |
| Erithmu01-30-07, 10:59 AM | yup, have ephraim make the attacks |
| Sjiggie01-30-07, 11:54 AM | As the orc stand dazed Eprhaim tries to assault the ego of the orc once more but becomes dazed himself by the psychic energies he tries to control. Enervation spoils your chance for the win with Ephraim do you want Marcus to act? |
| Erithmu01-30-07, 12:40 PM | The power still goes off, enervation has effects afterwards. If I just didn't beat SR then have Marcus move in use an over channel and take the damage |
| Sjiggie01-30-07, 04:42 PM | The assault on the ego of the orc becomes him too much. The orc collapses and falls unconscious. But also Ephraim suffers some ill effects from powering the ego whips with his mind and becomes dazed. After he overcomes the enervation Ephraim sees the two fiendish creatures lying on the ground. Only the door to the north is unopened and he believes to find Mitch there. I thought that enervation also makes you lose the power. But after rereading the class ability I rolled the egowhip. Minimal damage would take out the orc ;) What do you want to do now? |
| Erithmu01-30-07, 07:12 PM | Marcus rushed to Ephraims side You ok? I have never seen that happen before. I'll be fine in a moment, My break of Yzma's control was not ... clean. My powers are driven by emotional memories rather than mental self will. Much more potent, but still provide me with some tricks. Marcus smiled and allowed the giant Ephraim to get back up. He mentally refocused his mind and then stored mental energy within Tok before sending the psicrystal to take a look in the next room. Marcus regains both Foci (his own, and psicrystal). What I have for status: Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 14/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 22/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Lemme know how long till Ephraim's force screen runs out, I might renew that before going in the last area. Have the psi crystal take a look in after Marcus has both foci back Were both those guys phrenic? or just fiendish creatures? Also: my week is about to get nuts so if we keep going I'm all for it. |
| Sjiggie01-30-07, 08:55 PM | Marcus regains his foci and sends tok into the next room by opening the door a little to let tok enter through it. It let Marcus Telepathicly know that he can't sense any living beings in the part of the room he is in now. He can't sense the walls of the room so Tok believes he is in a large room. Those guys were both fiendish creatures. I will post a map tommorow lets try to finish this quickly. Should have a bit more time this week then last week. |
| Sjiggie01-31-07, 04:52 PM | http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Final-Encouter.jpg Here is the map. It doesn't show any potential opponents cause Tok can't sense them right now. Tok is in the middle square at the bottom. |
| Erithmu01-31-07, 05:53 PM | Ephraim stepped into the room, Sword drawn and walking cautiously listening for signs of whoever might be left. Marcus waited at the door for signs of targets. Ephraim in after a 1 pp renewal of Force Screen and then we go from there. She does have very good listen and spots as well. |
| Sjiggie02-01-07, 04:08 PM | Ephraim goes trought the door with Marcus following closely. When he takes a look in the room he sees the final seconds of a powerfull summoning spell. In a white circle close by the altar a feared demon has appeared. Just behind the altar he can see a tieflig dresses in cleric garment. The thing that scares him the most is a man lying naked on the altar with blood all over him. He seems barely alive. Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 13/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 22/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Initiative Marcus: 16 Demon: 15 Tiefling: 11 Ephraim: 10 http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Final-Encouter-1.jpg Ephraim Tok Marcus Tiefling Demon Ephraim has renewed his force screen Vigor should be up for another 40 rounds as the force screen for Marcus let's hope we don't have to renew those ;) |
| Erithmu02-01-07, 04:44 PM | Marcus K(planes) Roll? |
| Sjiggie02-01-07, 04:47 PM | The demon is a Babau with no class levels |
| Erithmu02-01-07, 04:53 PM | Marcus: 7pp overchannel + talented Eng Mis (sonic) hitting the tiefling and the demon. Ephraim's actions will pend on theirs. |
| Sjiggie02-02-07, 07:25 AM | Marcus unleashes a powerfull sonic Missile at the Demon and Tiefling. The demonic powers of the Babau stops the missile and it doesn't affect him. The Tiefling reacts quick and takes cover behind the altar and can avoid most of the damage. The babau uses one of it most feared abilities and he tries to rob Ephraim from his powers. Ephraim feels that he is robbed from his health when the vigor is dispelled he does keeps is size and protections up. The Demon then moves away behind one of the statues. The Tiefling cast a spell and shimmering aura appears around him. Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 13/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 15/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Babau AC: ?? hp: xx/xx Tiefling AC: ?? hp: -7/xx (buff 1) http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Final-EncouterR1.jpg The Dice weren't in the favor of Marcus but they were for Ephraim vs the Dispel Magic. Pending actions for Ephraim... Edit: Rolls are here (http://www.hwx.it/wizards.com/dice.php?sid=1071) |
| Erithmu02-02-07, 09:27 AM | Ephraim moves up 60ft, readies action to use 5pp + 2 surge crystal shard on the demon. Marcus moves up 30 ft and readies an EM (sonic) on the two targets when the Demon casts a spell. |
| Sjiggie02-02-07, 11:11 AM | What is the trigger for Ephraim readied action? |
| Erithmu02-02-07, 11:12 AM | Coming out from cover, crystal shard is a touch, so as little bonus from that as possible. |
| Erithmu02-02-07, 11:45 AM | Just noticed something: I'm guessing the 16 on the dispel check got the vigor. But the vigor is treated as a ML 7 due to wild surge so it wouldn't get dispelled. Also I should probably specify: Marcus will be a 7pp talented overchanel |
| Sjiggie02-02-07, 06:12 PM | Your right Vigor isn't dispelled Ephraim moves up towards the demon and tiefling and readies to shoot a crystal shard at the demon as soon as it comes out of his cover. Marcus follows Ephraim but lacks a bit more behind and readies a sonic energy missile on spellcasting from the demon. The demon comes out of cover and goes straight for Ephraim. It triggers the readied action from Ephraim. The demon suffers from lots of cuttings from the shards. But Ephraim becomes dazed by the use of the power. The demon moves in and bases Ephraim and a claw strikes across the chest of Ephraim leaving a mark behind. The Tiefling cast a spell at Ephraim leaving him blinded and then moves behind on off the statues Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 13/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +27hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused blinded Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 15/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Babau AC: ?? hp: -15/xx Tiefling AC: ?? hp: -7/xx (buff 1) http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/Sjiggie/Final-EncouterR2.jpg |
| Erithmu02-02-07, 07:52 PM | Ewwww ... double whammy Ok. Ephraim is dazed for this round. Marcus: 7pp Fire vs Tiefling casting hit both targets. |
| Sjiggie02-03-07, 07:56 AM | Marcus unleashes a powerfull fire missile. The tiefling can't avoid it but some of the fire is absorbed by the demonic heritage of the tiefling. The demon can avoid most of the damage and because he is used to the abyssal fires he suffers minimal damage. The demon claws and bites Ephraim further striking him hard this time. 23 damage in total The tiefling cast a spell to cure some of his wounds and stays where he is. Ephraim AC: 16 hp: 58/58 13/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +4hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused blinded Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 8/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Babau AC: ?? hp: -19/xx Tiefling AC: ?? hp: -13/xx (buff 1) |
| Erithmu02-03-07, 09:50 AM | Presses Pause You do realize that this is a CR 10 or so encounter right? Tiefing cleric 8 = ECL 9 + Babau CR 6 = about CR 9.5-10 Quests don't use ally rules or leadership rules. |
| Sjiggie02-03-07, 09:32 PM | Major error I'm sorry the babau can't be summoned by the cleric through lesser planar ally. Give me some time to edit the fight so far and another summon will appear. It'll be a howler. |
| Erithmu02-03-07, 11:06 PM | Can we go back to the opening round, keeping 'relative rolls' cause that would change my strategy. |
| Sjiggie02-04-07, 08:18 AM | Sure we will start over I kept the original rolls for Initiative and with the modifier from the howler initiative will be as follow: Howler Marcus Tiefling Ephraim Can you give me some tactics for the fight I don't have much time left this week. I will write tactics for the howler and tiefling as well. I'm sorry for the trouble |
| Erithmu02-04-07, 08:38 AM | Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 13/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 22/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) Going from those stats: Round 1 Ephraim Charges the howler charging Deep Crystal, Marcus will ready vs cleric casting a 7pp EM(fire) and move up. Ephraim will continue to melee the howler until it is dead, then go after the cleric. Marcus will have 3 readies vs Cleric casting, hitting the howler if in range. His job is to prevent casting. The third EM should be 7pp overchannel but I won't have a focus to expend for talented. After the howler is down, Ephraim will always base the cleric (if she isn't blind) and always deep crystal any attack. summary: Ephraim - Melee weight Marcus - anti casting If something major comes up stop and I'll try to address it quick |
| Erithmu02-06-07, 11:57 AM | Just a note: don't feel rushed, if it goes a week long, it goes a week long. |
| Sjiggie02-06-07, 08:17 PM | all rolls here (http://www.hwx.it/wizards.com/dice.php?do=dice&sid=1085) Round 1 The howler moves towards Ephraim finishing his move just a few feet away from him but just outside his reach. Marcus readies an action to blast the cleric upon spellcasting. The tiefling cast protection from good triggering the readied action goes off and the cleric loses his spell while taking 29 points of damage. Ephraim charges the Howler crittaclly wounds him and takes him out with one blow. Round 2 Marcus moves a bit towards the tiefling and readies again. The tiefling moves out of LOS from Marcus. Ephraim moves up and moves to negate the cover of the tiefling during his move he triggers a readied action from the Tiefling. But Ephraim resist the spell. Round 3 Marcus moves up again and he established LOS again towards the Tiefling and readies again. The tiefling 5ft step back and cast a spell triggering the readied effect from Marcus. The cleric loses his spell again. Ephraim 5ft steps towards the cleric and strikes him but his aim is to high and the tiefling ducks underneath the sword. Round 4 Marcus readies for the 3rd time. The tiefling attempts to cast a spell again. But falls to the exposure of a 3rd energy missile and falls dead on the floor. Ephraim AC: 20 hp: 58/58 9/40pp Expansion (end round 401) Vigor +35hp (end round 72) Force Screen (end round 21) focused Marcus AC: 15 hp: 38/38 21/50pp Inertial Armour (long) Force Screen (ends round 61) I shall post the end of the quest tommorow don't think you can have any complains about the fight. The crit on the charge killed the howler outright. |
| Erithmu02-06-07, 08:21 PM | Party ... I might add a storyline finish to this thread, but if you wanna just update the quest log for now I'd be stoked ... |
| Sjiggie02-06-07, 08:24 PM | Questlog is updated storyline will have to wait till tommorow I've to get back to school in 6 hours again and haven't slept yet. |
| Sjiggie02-12-07, 01:03 PM | Sorry for the delay school was killing me last week and I was the weekend away with no internet connection[/coor] Breathing heavily from the fight Ephraim moves towards the altar and he finds Mitch lying on it coverd in wounds and bruises. He checks his pulse and barely detects is Mitch must be on the edge of death. Just as Ephraim wanted to check his breathing he sees something in the corner. The succubus he feared most was in the room during the whole fight. [color=red]You won't spoil my plans again Ephraim soon the city of Promethia will be controlled by me. The succubus flies upward and escapes through on the windows. The rain of glass shards prevents Eprhaim for seeing where she went. He turns his attention to Mitch again. Treat Mitch as having 0hp |
